I decided to utilize technology, and order online, but when the Eat24 app wasnt functioning properly, I called to place a delivery order (Oakleaf Smokehouse is about 2-3 miles away, and it was raining, so I ordered in). The young lady who answered placed me on hold. Not a problem. But, about 4 minutes later, I hung up, and went back to the app, placed the order, and waited for my email confirmation. I checked the order from my email conf, and saw that the order was a Pick-Up order (for some reason, idk, I selected DELIVERY, the app wont allow you to place an order for delivery if the restaurant isnt offering that option at the moment)! I immediately called the restaurant to correct the issue, and when the phone rang, an automated answering service kicks me off the line. SIX calls later, I go back to the app, and try to cancel the order out of frustration, lack of calories, and I found something in my own kitchen during this debacle. Apparently, you have to email the Eat24 staff to let THEM know that youre cancelling, and that there might be a percentage for cancellations after x amount of minutes. Okay, fine...I sent the email, and figured I was done with the whole thing, and thank goodness! 47 minutes later, and three missed calls later (after I had already sat down to my own meal from my kitchen), I get a text message saying that the delivery guy is downstairs with my order. WHAT? How? UGGGGH! I went down, paid 29.00, plus 10.00 tip for his trouble (wasnt his fault that the restaurant has crappy phone service/slow folks answering the phone), and was UTTERLY disappointed in what I received: *Pulled Pork Sandwich, NO Coleslaw (really?!) No Fixins, loose in a horribly wrapped aluminum-backed paper wrapper. *And the most pitiful looking sausage and spare ribs, just thrown in a Styrofoam box...all this for 29.00! Tasting the food: it was very mediocre (at best), the to-go equipment is shotty and cheap, and the bar-be-que sauce is definitely not good. Texas Bar-be-que restaurants have a reputation for being smoky, flavorful, and juicy...not dry, with small portions, and banging around in a crap-tastic Styrofoam box. Step your game up, please!

Big Disappoint !!! Ran in to get a couple of over priced burgers because they ended up in the garbage, unable to eat . The buns were so dry and hard I could have thrown them at a window and broke the glass,so eat without buns O.K. , cut the meat patty in half only to discover the meat in both sandwiches were raw and I mean raw. Would not recommend this place to anyone , Stay Away unless you like throwing your money down any empty well. Can not even rate with stars !!! Having to hit one star in order to publish this review , does not deserve the star .

A friend and I had a fab time at Oak Leaf. DELICIOUS rips...I wanted to take an order of them home, but I denied myself. Kicking myself in the butt today. For sure Ill be making my way back to #EaDO in no time to pick me up a slab. The German potato salad was delicious and I felt good eating it. Will for sure try to make it on my own. The service was awesome everyone was friendly and my food came out piping hot super fast. Lastly, the fresh squeezed lemonade is a must try...too bad there arent any refills :(

Bought the 2 meat plate 14.95, too expensive, brisket n sausage. The meat was cold 2 small pieces of beef...n very little bbq sauce. The bbq beans looked pale and are flavorless. German potatoes were under cooked still hard. The best thing out of this meal was the pickles n onions...sausage was ok but cold. Had to re-warm up the food didnt even eat the sides. Dont even wanna talk about the sweet tea...(sugar n water). Wouldnt even take a free meal from this place. I would like a refund.

The place looks a little iffy on the outside, but the Brisket is maybe the best Ive ever had and the sides are pretty dang good too. I cant tell you how the pork or the chicken is of course because this is Texas and in Texas you can smoke pork and chicken all you want but if its not brisket then its not BBQ. :) Dont let the outside fool you, the foods great and Im glad to have them in Eastwood.

We ordered the fully loaded baked potatoes. The potatoes were small and what little meat they put on there was so salty that I could not eat it. I do not think it was worth the $21 for two small potatoes. If the food is not too horrible, I usually like to give a restaurant a second chance in case they just had a bad day. Not this time though. It was just too disgusting to even stomach.

I ordered my food delivery, and it was phenomenal. I ordered the 3 meat plate w broccoli slaw, and bbq bean sides. Everything was great! The brisket was a great cut, juicy, good ring you could taste the oak smoked into it, the rub was still on the top of the cut. I love my BBQ, and from what I tasted so do they. I will be ordering more.

I come here for the Villa Arcos part of the menu. Havent tried any of the BBQ. But I can say that the tacos are as good as always. Although. The last time I visited. There was a huge infestation of flies inside. I had to sit on the opposite side of the room just to keep them away. Keep it clean. That goes along ways.

We ate here 3 times and it was different every time. Ive seen a couple of reviews that say the same. If there on its good, but Texas has so much bbq its worth it to keep looking. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean and it was decently priced. They also have gluten free for those who have Celiacs.

If you like Goode company, youll love Oak Leaf Smokehouse. Excellent food. Their ribs and brisket are the absolute best to be had. The broccoli cole slaw is phenomenal, but their German potato salad has to be the best I have had since I left Germany. I will definitely be back here every chance I get.

It was alright. The ribs needed the sauce, which is always the big test for me. Sides were fine, but nothing of particular note. Hopefully they will improve with age... Ill check back at some point in the future.

The sides are amazing. Id recommend the German potato salad and the broccoli. The sausage and pork ribs were okay, but not as great as the sides. Id definitely come back if Im in the area again.

Standard Tacos, decent BBQ. I am glad they kept the "hot mess" on the menu. One thing they need to work on is consistency in their BBQ. Staff is friendly and a good neighborhood eatery.

Cool mix of Texas bbq and TexMex dishes. Everything Ive had so far has been pretty good. People are nice and online orders are always ready for pickup when I get there.

The BBQ was really good. The nachos were the best! The chicken salad was good too, but the white cold bread it came in was dissapointing

This BBQ / Tex-Mex fusion restaurant has a lot of good food. The sliced beef sandwich and the carne guisada are my favorites.

No longer Oak Leaf. Now its Texas Tacos & BBQ. The Brisket Enchiladas are good. Prices are high though.
