I ate at this restaurant today. It was horrible. I could not believe that there was nothing on my plate that was good. The chicken was not smoked. it was baked or boiled. They put bar-b-que sauce all over to make it seem like bar-b-que. The beans were too spicy. The potato salad was also nasty. I am from Louisiana and I have never seen black people who could not make potato salad.... and I am black!!!!! If I did not have to return to work, I would have taken this food back. My co-worker had to hear me complain the rest of our shift. I had to choose between spicy beans and nasty potato salad. I could not eat both. I will never go back.

My personal favorite is the stuffed baked potato minus the sour cream. Its loaded with brisket and I usually eat over the span of 2 days...well worth the money. As for the review about the chicken ... they serve baked chicken..you can get with or without barbecue sauce. When Im in town, this is where I go when I want good Old fashioned barbecue. Im not even going to dignify the reviewers remark about plumbing because we all know working running hot water is a requirement..sounds like someone hating on a black entrepreneur.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT eat at this unsanitary place!!! I live on the street this barbecue place is on. They regularly have problems with their sewage and dont have water to wash their hands. Last month the plumbing people came over to work on the plumbing and pulled up right in front of the house on the corner and let all that stinky water out and it stanked up the whole street. Theyre currently are having sewage problems again. They have sewage problems on a regular.

Sorry this place is horrible, incorrect order, the food tastes like lighter fluid, you cant even smell BBQ when you pull up or get your food, the food is very dry and cold, actually taste kind of sour... Disgusting DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Excellent bbq! So much better than any franchise place i go to. Very friendly staff too. Its more for to-go orders and i highly recommend it if you love bbq or want a visitor to see what good texas bbq tastes like.

Ive been going to Old Fashion Barbecue for years, and it is by far the best cue in town. If you want real smoke barbecue with real flavor, head to Old Fashion Barbecue. Great service and delicious food!
