I work by Bush IAH so this is the closest and best sushi near me for lunch. I usually love everything, the servers are nice and friendly, the food is hot and fresh, and the lunch specials are reasonably priced. Today, however, was horrible. I came in at lunch time and was seated promptly, my waitress walked up to my table and said "What do you want?". I ordered water and she was already walking away as I was telling her that I was ready to order. I ordered my bento box and she snatched the menu away right out of my hands before I could tell her that I wanted to add a sushi roll. She repeated my order and walked away. When she brought me my drink, it was Iced Tea, not the water I asked for. She brought it along with the salad, and on my glass was salad dressing that Im assuming, due to the shape and amount, came off her finger. I did not see her again for the duration of my lunch. Another waiter brought out my sushi roll as well as my bento box. I sat with dirty, empty dishes and an empty glass my entire lunch. As I was finishing up, I expected her to return and see if I was ready for my check. Nope, nothing. I had to request for my check and a to-go box from the hostess. Another waitress came by and asked if I needed anything and I repeated that I needed my check and a to-go box. Finally, the HOSTESS brought me my check and to-go box, not my waitress. You know who suddenly appeared to pick up my check with the cash? Yep. My waitress. She gave me her attention a total of 3 times during the course of my meal, even though where I was sitting she had to walk past me to see all of her other guests. She passed by my table every couple minutes or so but never said a word to me or even acknowledged my presence. She was nice and talkative with her other guests, but for some reason, she felt I deserved sub-par service. I love this restaurant, like I said before. I go by there fairly often for lunch so Im amazed and frankly, offended for the level of service I recieved today.

Went there for dinner tonight. The sushi was ok, didnt seem too fresh. the service could have been a little better, but the people were nice. We got hibachi and our chef was awesome!! The problem came when we got our check and was charged $2 extra for rice ($2 is not a big deal, but its the principle). When we asked our server about it she told us fried rice was not included on the meals. However, the menu states u have an option of either or; also there was a 15% gratuity added to our bill which was not reflected on our itemized receipts. The food and service is decent, chefs awesome, but watch out when you pay!!! The dishonesty really turned me off. We could have went to HEB steakhouse and got the rice for free!!!

The place was packed full of local office workers at lunch time. We waited briefly for a table. The waitress came by but we werent ready to order yet. She curtly marched off. Shortly another waitress took our order. Food came but my co-worker didnt get what he ordered. Took us 10 min to flag down a waitress. She sent over our waitress and she said he ordered the special. He didnt. Waited another 20 min and finally the order was delivered. Options in the area are somewhat limited. Would eat here again but wouldnt be my first choice.

This place is great, the waitress is always attentive yet not overbearing. The food is always great, you can tell the chefs know what they are doing and take pride in their food, its always so good and looks great to. The hibachi grill is my favorite, although a bit expensive, its really fun and the chef has a lot of fun with you. I love this place and come here often when I eat out. Their happy hour is awesome and really makes it work coming and trying something new instead of the same thing everytime.

Will eat here for lunch all week 1st day 2 pieces of Sashmi were "questionable". 2nd day Tempura was HORRIBLY GREASY mentioned same to manager, said I would try again tomorrow. 3rd day SAME GREASY TEMPURA and it was plain potato & carrots. Manager did ask beforehand if I wanted steamed Said no as to I wanted to review if anything was different. WORSE. Try again tomorrow! !

This Japanese restaurant has both traditional sushi and Bento and teppanyakki. The place is great for lunch and groups since it is fairly large. The sushi is okay in the North side of Houston where there arent that many Japanese restaurants. At lunch time it is busy so come early if you dont want to wait. They have good deals for the lunch Bento boxes.

The place does not look awesome from the outside but when you get inside it has a quite good view. We decided to order Hibachi and it was awesome, best show ever. We met this hispanic chef which was really funny and made our day. If you get a chance to visit here try to joke with the chef and say him you are visiting so He makes his best on the show.

I love this place, we try to go at least once a week. I have been going here for over 15years. Its awesome. The sushi is great, hibachi is awesome. The salad is delicious. We even buy the salad dressing to try and remake the salad at home, doesnt compare like they make it. Fav. sushi roll is Jalapeno Roll

Theyre not outstandingly good on value, but for hibachi, its not horribly priced. The sashimi wasnt bad, not the freshest but okay. The crabmeat puffs were yummy. Enjoyed hibachi shrimp, fried rice, and hibachi veggies. The scallops and salmon steak were just alright.

Great atmosphere. Love that you can eat at the sushi bar or hibachi grill area. We order 3 different sushi and a appertizer of seaseme chicken and spent less than $40. Food was 4 out of 5. Service 5 out of 5, because we didnt have to ask for anything.

Ichibon!!! I wonder if its the same as the one in Williambsurg Virginia I went to. The decor looks different but Im pretty sure this is a chain restaurant. Food is amazing. Service could be friendly. I prefer the one in Williamsburg better.

Some of the best sushi, service, and atmosphere anywhere in the Greenspoint area. If you are looking for good sushi, hibatchi, or even a hot bowl of Sukiuaki this is the place to go. Also ask about lunch specials at the sushi bar!

Good place to have lunch if you are around Greenspoint. We had Cajun Bento, which has fried prawns, fried vegetables and fried rice. It was really tasty. Food is good and service is quick. Overall a nice place.

Great food, large portions but they dont accept payments over the phone nor do they accept Visa checkout payments. I hope they update that soon, I hate carrying a purse out and about.
