When you want finish a 30 Day Detox Challenge and the only thing that gets you thru the last week is dreaming of pizza. Not that crusty, greazy, cardboard peperoni generic delivery but the kind that speaks to you. I had heard tales of Distrcit 7s new pizza spot but yet to make the adventure. And after the diet, the bar may have been set too high but they delivered. And yes, I went by myself to eat an entire pie. I took half home to share with the bf. And then ate it before he got home from work -- Sorry, Im not Sorry. IT WAS 30 DAYS OF NO DAIRY, GLUTEN OR SUGAR ... I give myself credit for not rolling around on the pizza (yes, it did smell that good). The store front is bland but works. Parking was easy. The guys taking the order were more than nice and accomodating and funny. And have a genuine love of pizza. And food. And beer. I had the bison buffalo pie and it was everything that a dreamy pizza should be. This isnt your "girl next door" pizza - this is the Lexus of pizzas. I mean, Im sure their pepperoni or cheese pizza are divine but I come here for things like aioli and blue cheese. Veal is next on my hit list. This pizza geek is sold. Maybe even a little starry-eyed. I rate this over Pinks and Stars. But I think both are overrated. I know, I know ... shoot me and take away my Houston Inner-Looper card. (I will say, it is just as over-priced as District 7 Grill though. And also you probably shouldnt plan on eating an entire pie - unless, it is day 31 of a 30 day cleanse.)

The reviews before me for this place most be a business move and smart but Im honest and not apart of that. I have lived by this place before it open just over a year and prices went up on a few items. $15.51 for a 12in pizza with only two toppings is OK if the food is great. I ate there twice and made my stomach hurt twice. After the first maybe was thinking it was something else but its the pizza. I asked for ranch and was told that the owner does not like that. For $15 I cant get ranch and you are a new business. Going against papa John s,others with better prices, and authentic moms and pops. The grease ran off the pizza. Also it took a couple of minutes for someone to take my order and they had three workers and customers waiting in front of me. One was eating, another working, another outside talking to a friend. For the prices I want what Im paying for good food. Great customer service, and a little extra to win me over from competitors, I dont want to pay for your location. Take it from me this district 7. Is not worth it.

Great food! I havent had something that wasnt amazing (wings, pizza, meatballs, calzone, and salad). You cant find these flavors and menu items at any regular restaurant. The manager (?) Jason is really personable and nice. The way he runs the restaurant makes us come back. This is a definite must for anyone in the area.

District 7 Pizzeria is located in a cool place in downtown that seems to be on the rise the pizza is AMAZING but I also ordered wings and they seemed to be alright if not a bit cold. Id eat there again but it needs to up its appetizers if Im going to spend ~$35 for a large pizza and wings.

Me and my moms went there a few weeks ago. I must say it was good. They showed love with the slices which were pretty big. They had a pretty interesting choice of toppings including wild boar. Im a have to go back one day and try their non pizza items.

Im so disappointed, I called at 7 pm to make my delivery order and the food arrived at 8:30pm cold and wrong! Called to talk with Taylor and he was the most disrespectful men in the world! Go and treat yourself as you treat your consumers!!!

I gave this place 4 chances. I called at 6:00pm on a Friday. No one answered. I called back and got put on hold for 7 minutes. I called back and no one answered. I called back AGAIN and no one answered. DONE!
