Note: this is only a review of the coffee and NOT the food which I have not tried. (When I try a new coffee place I always order a double espresso on the first visit - the espresso is the base of any good coffee drink - addition of hot milk if correctly steamed can mask problems with the underlying coffee.) Firstly, the wheel kitchen charges 3.50 for a double espresso, which I believe is the about the most Ive ever paid for a double. That price would usually be about right for a short milk based based drink e.g. Flat white. Id rate the quality of the double shot as "poor" overall - think slightly worse than Starbucks double espresso. Firstly, the shot had no crema, as the photo shows. Secondly the shot was very short, Id estimate no more than 20g which is ok if the shot has been properly extracted, but this shot was obviously pulled too fast and so the coffee was under-extracted and quite bitter. They appeared to be using a single group epoca - no idea what beans. Ambience / service: good atmosphere with the owner paying attention to food customers and appeared to trying hard to deliver good service. Odd mix of furniture (IKEA, spinning wheel) in a converted home setting. For an "out of the way" place it was quite busy. Other reviews for this place recommend highly so I have to believe the food is good, however the coffee is not recommended. For coffee in this area, Id recommend John and Jane Dough Bakery in Tomball (9 min from this location).

I have driven by this place many times, always thinking about stopping. Today Im really glad I finally did. I stopped in, looked over the menu, and decided on the chopped Bok Choy salad and a cup of black coffee. Thelma, the owner, took my order and I went outside with my cup of coffee. A staff member brought me a water and my salad out quickly. The atmosphere is idyllic. Its on a farm, theres a garden, and twinkling lights are hung in the trees. The inside is homey and comfortable with soft music playing in and out. Coffee is great and nice and hot. The salad wasnt what I was expecting, but I loved it. It has a creamy horseradish that is still light. There are pieces of grilled, cold zucchini that amazingly still have a great texture. There are sweet potatoes that are both perfectly cooked and lightly spicy. The service was great, but it was totally dead when I went. Only a couple getting coffee to go ahead of me and a family that came after I was about halfway through my salad. Overall, the food, coffee, and atmosphere were so awesome. I told Thelma that she took my money from Panera today and I couldnt be happier about it. I will absolutely be coming back here.

I wanted to love this place, I was excited to try it out, but there are only five tables, two of them which only accommodate two people each. That in itself wouldnt bother me but my coffee was cold and not very strong, there was no sugar, silverware or napkins provided. I had to get up and go look for things each time I needed something and while the food wasnt bad it was just meh to me. One egg was cooked perfect one was hard cooked and there was a side of what I think was diced sweet potatoes but they were kind of raw. My husband had a panini and for a 10 dollar sandwich it would be nice to get more than one slice of bacon on a sandwich. I left unsatisfied and had to go get a doughnut afterwards to console myself. The patio is really nice and if the weather is good it would probably be really nice to sit outside. Dont let my review discourage you from trying it. I would say check it out for yourself, but hopefully my review can serve as constructive criticism to the staff as I do love the idea of small local joints serving good food!

Just stopped by for breakfast, I was highly impressed! Unlike most restaurants around, we absolutely loved it! Fresh, organic food, at great prices. The coffee was amazing, as was the breakfast! Our toddler loved everything - the eggs, Italian sausage, chive Greek yogurt, potatoes, and croissant. Not only is the god exceptional, the service and atmosphere make it 5 star. We will definitely be frequent customers, and the location is perfect!

The Wheel Kitchen was a wonderful new experience for my family. Fresh, healthy ingredients, locally grown. We ate out on the deck, and it was such a peaceful, off-the-beaten path experience. Great food, great atmosphere, affordable prices. A breath of fresh air with all the chain restaurants swarming the area. Well be back!

This place is brand new, farm to table fresh. There is very little seating. Family friendly. A little pricey, but well worth it. I had a grilled cheese sandwich... it was made on fresh cranberry pistachio bread... with fresh ricotta, goat cheese, and mozzarella. Its different, but really good.

Amazing place! Everything is made from scratch with local & seasonal ingredients. Ive tried various items on the menu and theyve all been incredible. Highly recommend their pasta and veggies paninis - but you cant go wrong with anything, really.

I love the farm to table experience and this place does it so well! Their menu changes weekly and always has something for everyone. They will also happily customize anything to meet any dietary needs - gluten free, vegetarian, etc

It was awesome. Great selection of coffee and cappuccino. Nice and quiet, polite people over there. And you can buy some real organic products like chicken and duck eggs, carots, tomatoes and many others. You gotta try it!

The chicken tacos were amazing! I would have gladly eaten 3 or 4, instead of the 2 that came in the meal. While there are not a lot of options here, all of them are excellent from what I hear, including the desserts.

The food was delicious and the service was very professional and attentive. The prices were high, but because all the food is organic and local, I suppose that is the price you have to pay.
