WORSE BAR EVER!!!!! DO NOT go here for Steak Night! First off, the crowd sucks! I have never seen so many people in one place with stuck up attitudes. I guess I wasnt dressed the way that they felt I should have been. No worries, it was raining and I was on a casual date so an old persons opinion of me is irrelevant. I would be mad too if a 30 year old woman still looking 19 walked into a 35 and over establishment. Anywho, moving on to the actual establishment. I ordered a steak at the bar (I like it prepared Medium), I waited an hour and still no steak. I saw everyone else around me receive their well done steaks but yet I didnt get mine. Eventually my date went back to the bar tender to ask her about our order and she told him that it would be out in a few minutes. 20 minutes had gone by and still NO STEAK! So I decided to go in myself and inquire (some random anglo, dont know her name because she was that goofy) . The manager informed me that I had not received my order due to my number not being displayed properly. It was LITERALLY 50 people in the bar and only 20 of them where on the patio (which is where I was sitting) and my number was on the table so HOW was it not displayed properly? Needless to say, I later found out that I never received my order because the kitchen didnt have the ticket for it. I tipped the bar tender $10 on a $40 PRIOR to me even receiving my food (because I work in the service industry and I thought I was helping the lazy tramp out but CLEARLY that backfired). So of course, Im annoyed but I didnt let it show even when the MANAGER blamed me for the kitchens screw up and she NEVER apologized for it. I work so I dont need a damn thing for FREE but the BARE MINIMUM that you do in customer service is APOLOGIZE! She is the WORSE manager ever and she was drunk. She could laugh and talk with the table next to us but yet she failed to see our number properly displayed on our table? I thought this was a black owned establishment so I expected better, I was wrong. Horrible place and I will NEVER go back and I will inform others of how horrible this place is as well.

It was a slow day, rainy outside and a few of us were out for a birthday to just chill. Things were great until we found ourselves in a debacle. To our surprise it wasnt even another patron who was cursing people out and hitting the women and men in our group. It was an EMPLOYEE. Not only was the situation horribly handled, the management allowed the employee to continuously be rude and violent multiple times and only blamed us for defending the women in our group. Also, a waste of time - the drinks are high as hell. And that is NOT that employees first time getting into it with people at this bar. He recently had gotten into it with some other acquaintances some weeks prior. AVOID. They also wouldnt let us finish the drinks we had just purchased. Horrible management and employees. Also, security kept pushing me even though I was standing on the side but not the actual transgressor. Never going back.

They have a Sunday brunch featuring Ettas, with your typical brunch items. Heard the shrimp and grits were amazing. I had the bourbon peach stuffed french toast, but was a bit disappointed. Its basically peach marmalade and marscapone between two slices of French toast. Ill opt for something else when I return. The venue itself is pretty lively and DJ Big Reeks does a great job setting the atmosphere with the music. Sucks that its open seating and you have to order your drinks and food at the bar. However, the drinks are affordable, especially if you order the carafes of mimosas or frozen of the day. Id imagine it wouldnt be ideal for big groups even though everyone there seemed to be in big groups. All in all, a good place for Sunday Funday.

I went here for sunday brunch and it was okay... The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, lovely patio, sangria was hitting. Thats where it ends. I found the food to be alright at best. I had the brunch platter which comes with a belgian waffle, potatoes, eggs, and bacon or turkey sausage. My beligian waffle came saturated with syrup to the point that it was more syrup than waffle(way too sweet, like it was glazed), my eggs werent seasoned and there was no salt and pepper on any table, which is in direct contrast to the poatoes which were almost over-seasoned. But again nice patio, great sangria. So Id suggest you come for drinks and eat elsewhere.

A friend and I are both still pretty new to the Houston area, so we had been meaning to get together to have drinks someplace, but really didnt know where to go. We read reviews, and decided to try this place. We were not disappointed. The drink specials were pretty good, the atmosphere was great, the music was good but not too loud, and the service was friendly! Theres not much more you can ask for. They seem to have steak night and a number of other weekly specials. I would definitely go back to this place. My friend had beer, and I had sangria. It was probably the best sangria Id had at a bar in a couple of years. Really great for summer!

Had a great experience my friends and I. A week later we all noticed that our credit cards had been changed several times. Yes....3 different people smh. Was not happy at all. When tried to reach a manager, the persons answering the phones was very rude and could care less about the situation and they had no knowledge of where or when the Manager would be in. So unprofessional.... Once we solve this matter we will never go here again. Be careful using your credit cards there. $39s charged 3, 4 times

Went for a friends birthday party for brunch, and it was wonderful. The DJ knows my heart! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. And the drinks are good too- although it is VERY easy to overdo it since its at brunch, and they are on the strong side. Wish there was more room- we got there early so we had a table, but it was like people were hawking the table hoping we would leave...the atmosphere was lit though, Ive never experienced anything like it during the daytime!!

Mature lounge with outdoor patio. Tuesday steak night draws a crowd, the steak is delicious. Always nice music, drinks can be overpriced for the type of liquor served(in comparison to other bars serving the same liquor). Limited parking. I usually always receive nice service sometimes the service is better than other times. There is smoking outside (mostly cigars) which is usually when I leave or move indoors

Drinks are on point. Service is on point. Music is to die for. Live music on weekends. Crowd is usually 30-50 age group. The ONLY thing I hate is the lack of space here... its such a great spot and EVERYONE knows it. So its always packed. And parking is a pain the butt... however, its worth it. One of my Houston favs. Oh, and steak night on Tuesday is the bomb diggity. You aint never had a steak like this.
