If someone was willing to pay $8 for a burger and an extra $4 for a side of fries and a drink, youd think they could at least be served with a smile. The burgers are really small and pricey ~$8 for just the burger, alone. They have a pretty good flavor. My wife got the chicken sandwich: she said theres nothing special about it. If you want a (small) side of fries and a (small) drink, the extra charge is $4! Very hipster atmosphere, and the employees arent engaging or hospitable. Theyre too cool for us, I guess. Lol! Girl at register rushed our order, didnt ask if wed ever been there before (it was our first time), didnt even really look at us, much less greet us, or, Heaven forbid, smile. Plenty of good burger places in Tyler, Grub doesnt make our list. We wont be back and wouldnt recommend it.

Placed a to go order. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, I got the impression that the order was not even started. This didnt bother me; I understand things happen. The manager came up to me a few minutes later and apologized. He said they would give me a free order of cheese fries for the inconvenience. I told him that was not necessary, be he insisted. Now on to the food: I ordered the market burger. My understanding is that this burger rotates to different types. At the time of ordering, it was a Philly Cheesesteak burger. The burger was cooked to order and delicious. The cheese fries are good also, but a little greasy. I prefer their standard fries.

It appeared unless you tipped at the ordering station that you wouldnt get your food while it was warm. Food was cold and made incorrectly. Incorrectly meaning missing half of what the menu said would be on it. Waiters were rude and all but threw the food onto the table. The restaurant is built like and amplifier so you cant hear anyone less than a foot away from you. Recommend eating outside if you actually want to talk to your date. Otherwise, this restaurant might be perfect for you. Would have rated lower if I could. I will not be going back any time soon.

This place really does a burger up. The venue is perfect for couples or families. My wife and I had the Lockhart Legend and the Scorpion. Both were flavorful and not too spicy. The Lockhart Legend was the best tasting overall. The scorpion could have benefited from a little extra flavoring. You wont be disappointed with either one though. The drink menu is limited but the bartenders are pretty standard so youd be fine there as well. We ordered a Patron Mango Rita and a Lemon Drop Martini (not one of their listed drinks).

Just ate there tonight. Good location, but not worth the money. The burgers came out wrong but no one bothered to check back with us. Cant stand to throw away food, so we ate it. Burgers were super dry and had no taste. Tea was old and tasted like it. The salted caramel shake and sweet potato fries were awesome...but none of it was worth the price. We wont go back. Guess if you drink enough, you wont care what the food tastes like!

The Tyler, Texas location had the potential to receive five stars. Unfortunately the fresh ground hamburger in my sandwich was tasteless. What could have been an exciting burger ended up being boring. Also, the cups for the $2.35 self service drinks were only about ten ounces which resulted in having to make several trips to refill. If these two downers were fixed I could consider giving five stars. The fries were really good.

Best burger joint I have ever been to. I love a good burger. I got the guacapotle add bacon. The guacamole and the Chipotle aioli worked well together. My wife got the Jive turkey. I tasted it and it was very good. We shared an order of bacon cheese fries. Get extra Ranch when you get the fries. One is not enough and the ranch is exquisite.

I enjoyed my food and experience here. I would like to return to try some of the other burgers too because they have a fun selection. The service lacked a little bit - overall it had a trendy and sort of artificially welcoming atmosphere. Prices are high, but overall I enjoyed myself and will be back for another great burger.

Absolutely delicious, and great service! We ordered 2 different burgers, cheese fries, a root beer float, dirtnworms shake and 2 house margaritas. 2 adults, 2 kids - it filled us all up. Every single thing we ate was amazing. Hint: add a little scorpion sauce to your ranch for dipping fries. YUM. Will be back soon!

Great burger options and the shakes are so good. This one is not up to the standard of other locations. Simply applying a lot of everything does not make a good burger. After eating there twice I can tell there is not as much experience on the application of toppings. Needs some work.

Orderered the Scorpion and Guacapotle burgers. They were "okay". Way too greasy, and bland underneath the various toppings. Not worth the money, to be completely honest. Meat wasnt seasoned all that well, I expected a place thats so known for burger to blow me away.

I think weve tried every burger they make at this point. Im leaning toward te Texas Luau and Guacapotle as personal faves. Never a disappointment, great atmosphere, fast & friendly. Burgers, milkshakes, salads, fries, sides--you name it, its delicious.

The turkey burger is my favorite thing here!! The atmosphere I really chill and relaxed, my only complaint? The shakes are WAY too small for the price. Other than that its just another burger joint in Tyler, but give it a try!!

Tried two burgers and they do have flavor. However, for the price its really not worth it. +$4 more to add drink and shoe string fries that get cold by the time they get to the table... Good place to throw away some money.

Got the Lockhart Legend. Very tasty burger. The cheese fries were ridiculously good! Get the jalepeno ranch for dipping. Its awesome too. The employees were nice and helpful. Good experience. Would definitely recommend.

Listen, you wont find a burger place like this in Tyler. Grub has great service, stellar atmosphere, and maybe the best burgers Ive ever had. Lockhart Legend is a winner. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Whats the most important thing at a burger joint? The burger...and this one was very good! They grind their own meat so its fresh not some hockey puck on a griddle. All the fixings were good too. I recommend.

Honestly nothing special. Seems as if they are trying too hard to be different when it comes to the topping on their burgers. But, I did really enjoy their sweet potato fries and the service was really great.

Absolutely love this place. Nice staff, great food, and comfy chairs! Their style of burger and salads are to die for. Their Ahi Tuna and their sweet potato fries are my favorites on their menu.
