We were visiting Glen Rose and decided to dine at the China Wok. Four of us ate here, each got a different entree. None of us thought it tasted good. We each tried each others food, and nobody liked any of it. The worst, IMO, was the sesame chicken. (Glad I didnt order that.) I had the cashew chicken. Also on our order was the chicken chow mein and the shrimp lo mein. The food looked fresh, was hot, and could have been good if the sauces that our entrees were marinated in were good. As it was, not a good flavor. Same with the fried rice and the egg roll--not good flavor to those, either. Wonton soup was just okay.

The veggies are always fresh and perfectly cooked. I love getting the fried bean curd in garlic sauce over white rice. I always get take out and the hostess gets the order correct every time - great service. Good quality ingredients and taste for small town vegetarian cuisine! Also, the location is very quaint and right by the park and nature sanctuary.

The food tasted like it was left out all night. Gross. Im really upset that I wasted my money here. At least the lady was nice but that can only get you so far.

Took 30 mins to even get the steamed bun appetizer. Food was good, but the wait was over an hour for food, when it wasnt crowded. Would not recommend.

Family ate lunch here. Had a mixture of dishes all perfectly prepared and seasoned. Highly recommend the beef with garlic sauce!
