I dont understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews. The food wasnt bad, but it was only fast-food grade. It was obvious most (all?) items were from frozen, can or box. The bratwurst is the same size as a hotdog, the type you would get from the carts outside of home centers. I had hopes for the fat brats you get from a German restaurant. The mashed potatoes are similar to KFC plus some pepper. Chicken fried steak is from frozen with fake grill marks. Id rate it slightly below Grandys. The rolls were good, but I have to think are pre-made as well. The server was friendly, although there was a missed item on the order that had to be sorted out.

My husband and I were actually driving past this place on our way to a new breakfast place when I saw Copper Kettle. We decided to try here instead! I am so glad we did. The hash browns are the best hash browns we have had in a long time, their thick bacon REALLY IS THICK!!! (Not to mention delicious), my eggs, which I order over medium, were actually cooked over medium and were perfect! The home made biscuits were delicate and so good in the sausage gravy. Also, the pancakes were so good. Not only did we enjoy an amazing breakfast, but we had incredible service and Emily took such great care of us.

Knew this restaurant was there, but never tried. Decided to go because wife googled "Best Catfish In Garland" and The Golden Kettle came up. The food was very good and atmosphere was great. My loved the catfish and shes very hard to please. I had the steak kabob and it was very tender and the pinto beans were seasoned to perfection. However, wish the there were more selections on the menu.

Copper Kettle has the best breakfast in town and there is never a wait. With the new menu items added, this is now a great place to eat at any mealtime. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, the owners are great and the food is delicious. Its one of my favorite places to eat in garland.

Was extremely disappointed with Jaspers dinner on 2/14. Were with four friends and the $85 fixed price meal had the smallest portions for each course any of us had ever seen. The maryland crab cake had very little crab in it. The lobster tail looked like miniature lobster.

Ended up here because Babes was on a long wait but glad we did. EVERYTHING was wonderful. Great home cooking, all the food was hot and delicious. The service is a little slow but so worth it and very friendly.
