Tried this taco shop twice. The first time I ordered the Carne Asada Fries, and the second time I ordered 5 Rolled Tacos and a Bean and Cheese Burrito. The food itself was not very good. I returned for a second time because everyone deserves a second chance, plus I live far away from a good taco shop. Similar to other reviews the Carne Asada meat had no flavor, nor did the rolled tacos. I did not think it was possible for Mexican food to be that bland. The Bean and Cheese Burrito was just a bean burrito (not even a little cheese even though I asked for extra). The second time I went I had a conversation with a friend who was there during which I mentioned that the last time I was there I got the Carne Asada Fries. When I got to the counter I asked for 5 Rolled Tacos and a Bean and Cheese Burrito with extra cheese. I was charged $15.05 which I thought was a bit high, but paid. When I got my order I received Carne Asada Fries and the Burrito. I told the lady at the counter that this was not what I ordered and she responded by saying that I did ordered the fries. I wasnt even at the counter when I said the words "last time I ordered..." to my friend, and the rolled tacos were the first thing I ordered. Mistakes happen, and to their credit they took back the fries and got my original order, correcting the bill as well. Also, they were not rude about it (aside from telling me that I ordered the fries when I didnt at all). On its own this mix-up wasnt a big deal. I mention it because the combination of that and the food is enough for me to not visit a third time. I understand that their location may result in a majority customer base that stereotypically does not like seasoned food, but I was hoping for more of an authentic taco shop taste, or at the least something more authentic than Taco Cabana. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I will just save my stops at a taco shop for when Im in South Dallas, or when I visit back home in Southern California.

Read the great reviews so maybe my expectations were too high. Our food was bland and for the price was not filling. We received some of our order in 10 minutes and some in 20, none of which was an appetizer. They didnt make the salsa Verde for the day yet (it was 11:30), so we ate one dish dry until we were finally brought out some sauce. The upside is that the meat was very tender and it was nice to eat outside. The gal at the counter was very kind and courteous. In the end there are too many other options to repeat visit.

Ordered a variety of tacos to give it a try. Coming from Dallas and really knows "street" tacos this place is NOT a place to go. The barbacoa was kinda dry and no flavor!!!! the Carne asada no flavor too!!!!! the only ones even half way decent was the carnitas and shredded pollo. Wanted to try the churros and the horchata and BLLLAHHHHH.. the churros were COLD!!!!!!!!! and the horchata was watery!!!!!! I DO NOT recommend anyone looking for good tacos this place.

One of the very few places in the Frisco area that serves authentic Mexican food -- definitely not your average Tex/Mex thats so prevalent in the area. Prices are a tad steep, but with how difficult it is to find conveniently located, quality Mexican food out here, its not bad enough to keep me from going 3-4 times a month. Give this place a try and you definitely wont be disappointed.

One of our favorite places to eat in Frisco. Really good taco shop. If you dont know what a taco shop is and are expecting Glorias or some other mexican/latin food place then you may be surprised. If you are used to the taco shops you find in California and other places...you will like this place. Yes, sometimes services is iffy - but its a taco shop. Lighten up.

Love Marianas taco shop! We are California transplants and searched endlessly on Yelp for the Mexican food we grew up on back in California. This is it!!! Carne asada burritos, carne asada fries, bean and cheese burrito (not tacos). AMAZING! Horchata tastes good. We were customers at their old location and are customers here! Always coming back

Ive only been here a few times but the food and tacos are great and authentic. What I love most is how Ive seen the owner, on just about every visit Ive made, stop and chat with customers as if theyve been friends for years. Ive never had an issue with food and Im sure if I did, it wouldnt keep me from coming back anyway.

love this place great tacos. real authentic Mexican! muy bien. Los tacos saben tan rico! most People with bad reviews are probably non Mexican, (columbian,Puerto rican, Dominican) you know the high in oh everything must be perfect type. or white and are too picky. its great and people of main street love it!

This place was really not horrible it was clean the employees were very friendly and helpful but in was just not impressed with the food. It was overly seasoned and very expensive for what it was maybe it was the location as to the menu prices. I am willing to give them another shot.

Went today based on reviews. The Salsa bar was 90% empty, the service was sorta unpleasant, the chicken in the taco tasted boiled and flavorless, the decor lacking, and the rest was just adequate. The 3 tacos, rice and beans were 8.71. Will not go back.

Marianas has a fun atmosphere! I got the tacos al pastor and they were decent. The staff were super nice. I visited in the middle of the summer and it was hot! Might as well have sat outside, but it made for a great date night stop.

As someone who moved from California I was dying to find a place with a California burrito. Also one of the few places around that serves carne asada. Very good food, love the California style. A little pricey but not too bad.

Handmade delicious food in a style similar to taco shops found in Southern CA...service is friendly but sometimes the wait can take a while. So glad they opened again in a new location! Carne asada burritos are my go-to.

Couldnt give me tacos on flour tortillas, my sons ground beef tacos were terrible, he said they tasted like cardboard and beef had no flavor. And cheese wasnt even melted on my sons quesadillias. Wont ever go back!!

Not sure why this place got such good reviews. The food was boring and bland. Glorias in Frisco has much better food. I think even Christinas has better food and that is not saying much. One step above Taco Bell.

I walked in for the first time this morning. There were two people in the kitchen working. Both of them liked at me and didnt bother to even acknowledge me. So I stood there for a few minutes and left.

Finally, an authentic taco shop. Everything here is great, and it is fresh. I have never had a carne asada burrito with so much meat in it. Great service, awesome food, you will NOT be disappointed.
