Favorite place to order Chinese take out, or so it used to be. For years I have been ordering from this restaurant the fried rice shrimp extra spicy without a problem and I must admit it was pretty delicious. However just yesterday I place an order of two fried rice shrimp extra spicy and my meal came back with a surprise. There was a cockroach included. I immediately contacted Golden Moon to let them know about the incident and to request a refund. Of course I kindly asked the lady to have the driver pick up the food so they could see for themselves - I did not take one bite of the food. After five minutes the lady from Golden Moon called back to let me know my credit card would be refunded. I did tip the delivery man $5.00 and told her to leave the tip. I also kindly let her know that I loved their food and I was a loyal customer however I would no longer be ordering from them anymore. Just as I said that, the lady said something in mandarin and hung up the phone on me. I found that to be quite rude. I did take some pictures of the cockroach on my meal - unfortunately it did not provide me with the option to attach the picture on here. Please do check your food before consuming.

There is better Chinese food in the area. What has kept us coming back here is the fact that it is the only place in the area with all-you-can-eat crab legs. We have been coming for years, just for the crab legs. However, they recently changed to a cheaper product. The legs have very thin shells, much less meat, the meat had an odd taste, and the shells just bent when you tried to break them. It was some of the worst crab I have ever had. I told the owners about it but they just said that it looked good to them (so I suggested they actually try it, and they said nothing) and maybe the supplier gave them something different (and implied maybe it was because they chose a cheaper product, but didnt admit it directly) and said nothing more. I told them that we had been coming for years and that this would cause us to stop coming. They didnt seem to care. We just paid our bill and left. It is a shame. We agreed when we left that we will never return. The Chinese food isnt that great, and without the great crab there really isnt a reason to go there.

We have ordered from here so many times but this past time our experience was HORRIBLE!! We ordered two orders of lo mein to go an hour before they closed. When we got home the meat tasted weird to me - like expired meat. I thought it was just me but the next day my husband took it for lunch & said the same thing. I called to let them know. The manager said I shouldve called the same night. I explained that I thought it was me but my husband said the same thing the very next day. He said, "What do you want me to do? Give you your money back? Im not running a charity!" I said, "Excuse me! We have been customers for years." He said, "I see that but I cannot do anything if you didnt call the same day! Im a reasonable man but I dont know what you want me to do!" I was in shock. Needless to say we wont be going there again! I find it very offensive that he would say hes not running a charity!!!!!

Rip-off. Checked the hours online. Open until 10. Arrived at 8:30. The buffet, if you can call it that, look like it had been sitting around for at least 2 hours. Most trays were empty or contain a small portion of dried out food. I got some rice noodles that were semi crunchy from sitting around so long and some sautéed mushrooms. My wife got about seven shrimp and two crab legs. Around 8:50 the waiter told us it was "last call". Get what you want from the buffet now. We told him nothing much was left and what was left hadnt been fresh for at least two hours. I also told him their posted hours said they were open until 10. Thats when the cashier stepped up and said, "Restaurant open until 10, buffet close at 9." We were charged over $25 for two plates of crappy food. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else.

I wish I could rate this place with 0 stars, because it doesnt even deserve 1. For the people saying this is the best chinese place, you need to visit more chinese restaurants. The food is bland, either that or over salted depending on which day you go. The last time I ate there I was with my brother and we dipped out on the tab because it wasnt worth a penny. The wait staff is horrible. And if youre a female, you can count on being hit on by the kitchen staff. Ive never been there and NOT been hit on. Id much rather go to Hot Wok or Hong Kong express where Im not paying 10 dollars to eat crappy food.

Having lived in Asian for many years, my expectations are high when it comes to Asian food. Realizing that most Asian dishes served in the US are Americanized, even with such filters, China Moons food was very disappointing. Their attempt at sushi is terrible and I suggest they do it right or not at all. Nasty sushi only hurts their repeat business. King crab claws tasted like salt water. Their spicy fried chicken wings were not spicy but rather tasteless and dry. I share this harsh review in hopes they can improve, but I may never know since I wont go back.

Thieves ... never pay cash for delivery. Ordered delivery, but never heard total at end of call. Driver said total was $20 which was strange so I did the math and called regarding the total. Manager added an unknown $2 delivery charge and tried to tell me my math was incorrect on the tax amount, but it ended up $1.08 off. I know, its only a dollar, but the manager promised the driver would return with a receipt and he never did. Management blatantly lies to customers so I threw away the food for fear of what else was untrue within their delivery.

Unlike a lot of buffets, they have a decent selection of spicy foods. The Jalapeno Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, and General Tsaos Chicken are all pretty good. The egg rolls are pretty decent if you get them shortly after they make them, but if theyve been in the warmers for hours you should probably pass, or at least dont expect much. Not a huge selection compared to some buffets, but the quality is good. The also have lower lunch prices on the weekends, unlike many other places, so be sure to go by on Saturday or Sunday!
