Port Cafe has been around since I was in high school but has since changed ownership. The lady who bought it was there when I went for breakfast, and it looked like her kids were waiting tables. Seems like this is a nice, family owned joint. I ordered migas and they were great but the food took longer than I thought to come out. My brother opted for the dinner buffet so he cleared three whole plates of food before I got to eat (hes not going to lose weight that way but none of my business I guess). I had a bite of the buffet meatloaf, and it tasted fine but my dads is way better. I definitely plan on going back next time Im in town.

My husband and I had the best breakfast there! My omelette was one of the best I have ever had and my husband loved his huevos rancheros. The ranchero sauce was delicious. I stole some from the hubby to have with my omelette. The hash browns were crispy and perfect. They were putting out their lunch buffet while we were there and it looked and smelled delicious too! My only wish would have been real half and half for my coffee. I would definitely eat there again and take my friends.

It was a pretty nice looking cafe, with a lot of breakfast options, but the service was incredibly slow. We were there for over an hour before our food was brought out, and 2 of the orders were not correct. We requested salsa twice and it was never brought, the sweet tea was nearly clear and flavorless, the unsweet tea was not much better. The coffee was good, and the food was very tasty. We would not return due to the speed of service.

There breakfast is old school like grandmas also best in Brazos Port area. Super friendly staff and if you wanna know the history of Freeport. Just come in for breakfest and find a local.

This place is pretty good. Not a once a day, or once a week, but around once a month I go. They have a lot of condiments. They bring you 3 different salsas. One of the cashiers is doable.

One of my favorite places to get American breakfast. Food is delicious here, really cozy place to be, tho there is limited parking and seating place.
