Suburban Starbucks locations are chuck full of baristas who make terrible drinks, use vulgar language in front of customers, follow their own rules, think they can kick people off the property when they use wifi on the patio, just whatever they wanna do man. I was a Starbucks barista for 6 years and have never experienced this behavior until moving out of the inner loop. It is no wonder that statistically they make way less tips than any store in the city. Im talking .50cents-$1.00/hr. vs. $2.00-$4.00 hr. Pretty noticeable difference. Dont know why they dont pick up on that and learn how to do their jobs better. I Was kicked out for using wifi to study for school after hours. Kicking customers off property who are not disturbing anyone is strictly against Starbucks policy. Ive used wifi after hours at Starbucks in 3rd ward where they actually have to worry about robbers and shady characters of all sorts and they wouldnt have kicked me off the property. Cops drove by and didnt care. No other Starbucks ever has and nobody I worked with, including myself, ever has either. I almost got in trouble once just for telling customers they had to go outside when we were closing. Starbucks corp. has put great emphasis on treating their customers well but as long as you hire sheltered suburban kids dont expect much at all.

This Starbucks, at no fault to the staff, has the worst outdoor setting of any coffee shop Ive ever visited. There are like four tables outside stationed right over a stinky grease trap. The shelter from the sun is almost totally provided by a few of your typically crappy Starbucks umbrellas. A large majority of the daily visitors are smokers. Expect to get gassed out and leave stinky. There are also plenty of loiters which Starbucks graciously accommodates with free ice water - by percent most of them are smokers. After 6 pm, expect to hear deeply inane conversation about experiences drunk, stoned, and driving all to the background music of vehicle modifications funded by rich Kingwood parents that Id like to shank with a blunt pencil. In short, if spending 3.00 for a large black coffee (no refills) just to wait on a seat outside near a grease trap at the bottom of a pit of cigarette butts, after which youll be blissing in the company of a bunch of chain smoking non-patron water mooches, well then.. this Starbucks is for you.. If youve got a car though, I suggest checking out the Panara bread just down W. Lake Houston, which has a superior outdoor setting, and offers like 5 flavors of all-you-can-drink coffee for $1.00... if you bring your own cup.

Starbucks is a very dependable place I like to go to sit down comfortably and enjoy a good environment. This Starbucks is the exact opposite. The high school kids that hang out in the parking lot are loud, rude, and obnoxious. Almost all of them smoke and talk about vulgar things. Do not come to this Starbucks unless your going in and out.

Although this Starbucks is not too large, it has lots of big tables available inside. It is great for people studying and also good for us to just enjoy a coffee. They have a few tables available outside but they are just on the sidewalk in the parking lot.

I bought Xmas gift cards at the drive through. I later found out they were fake and told the manager , she had the name of the casher and told me there was nothing she can do, hay how about fire the thief .

The service is always amazing. I never write reviews but every time I go in to get my coffee they make me feel welcomed and always start a conversation. I love it and will always come here

The location is convenient in Kingwood and it has many seating available. The staff is friendly and the location seems tidy and clean. A great place if you want some quiet reading time.

I love the people and the service and everything, but I, myself am a high schooler and I hate going there because of the middle schoolers. They ruin the atmosphere. It isnt worth it.
