Terrible service. We went downstairs first but it was abandoned not even a sign directing people upstairs. When we got up there, out of respect for the "please wait to be seated" sign we waited 10 minutes to even be greeted. Since we had 2 large dogs that were in the way of foot traffic and an elderly person in our party, we went ahead and sat at the first table. We waited another 10 minutes with still no one so much as acknowledging our presence, in some very uncomfortable chairs I might add. We were being pelted this entire time by chalk and other debris coming from the 3rd deck above us. After becoming increasingly irritated (it was 2oclock. Not packed. No excuse) I went inside and the two servers were chatting. No patrons inside. One asked me "did yall have a place you wanted to sit out there" I said "we got tired of waiting so we seated ourselves" to which she responded "yall want some menus?" I said yes and she handed them to me. After asking the bartender for 3 waters which she refused to give me but said shell have them right out, I went outside and introduced myself to my table and gave out menus since apparently I was the waitress. A couple then came in and we watched them wait another 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. We eventually told them we ended up seating ourselves and they took head and did the same. After they sat down a few tables down the waitress came out brought them menus and took their drink orders. By this time we were pretty frustrated so we flagged her down and asked her why we hadnt had so much as taken our drink orders yet especially since we had been there much longer. She said something to the tune of she thought the bartender was taking care of us and then she took our drink orders, then had the nerve to card the member of my party who is black. Not to bring race into it but guess what color the family was who came in after and got served before? All white bread. So to wrap it up we placed our drink orders, waited another 10 minutes, got pelted by more chalk, still had no water, and got up and left. Ridiculous.

Trying to figure out how this place is getting 5 star reviews. $15.99 for fish tacos made with pre-packaged fake tortillas, $3.99 for a side of boxed Kraft Mac n cheese and $11.99 for beef nachos made with freaking processed cheese that concession stands use! Theyre truly ripping people off with these stupid, ridiculous prices on cheaply made food. Im in awe that there are people who actually consider this food "delicious". They must not have taste buds or really low standards. I gave them two stars for the location, which is nice and thankfully for a semi-attentive server. He was basically doing all the work himself since they had only two servers waiting on everyone during LUNCH time. UPDATE: Just noticed that the menu prices on their website are all different. Apparently, they thought their food was good enough to raise the prices on everything like $3-4 each. Hahaha! The chicken basket use to be $8.99, but now its $11.99??? Really? At least go back to the original prices thatd way people dont feel that ripped off once they try your horrible food.

20 minutes to be sat which isnt bad but there was no wait time communication. Sat down and waited another 30 minutes hoping a server would help us. Nothing. Finally flagged a girl down and was told this isnt my section so I dont want to make her mad. Rather than make your customers mad?! Finally had a server come over and it took another 20 just for drinks. She never came back for refills, took another 40 for our food that was ordered at the same time as drinks. The shrimp, catfish, and grilled cheese with fries were good but the beef tacos were terrible. Waited 20 minutes for the check and still were never offered refills. Finally had to beg for one for a child. Food was okay, view was nice, service was TERRIBLE. I will never frequent this establishment just for that reason.

Food is great. Service is terrible! Extremely rude i waited 20 min. For my daughter to get her drink i asked 4 times and still nothing so i got it myself than was told i couldnt. Than we had another trip wanted to do burgers on the beach so i called them to place an order i could pick up i was told to wait a min. I actually screenshot the time i waited 17 min. For someone to take my order and ended up hearing the conversation between the waitresses laughing as the were bashing a current customer i found it to be very disrespectful so i hung up and they will never have my business again. Very unprofessional and speaks volumes about the employees and their character. If the owner has any sense hed get a complete makeover in staff!

I to, think they have one of the best burgers around. But recently my husband and I took friends down to show them how good they were and they were out of several things, including french fries. This is the second time we have gone there and this has happened. We paid $40.00 to feed four and the gumbo had nothing (nada) in the gumbo. You guys are in the perfect spot and I do hope that you can get your system more in tune with the influx of summer tourist that come in. Im not a tourist, I live locally. But will give you guys some time to get your food together before I come back. Oh yeah, I will up my rating on your store when I can go there with friends and you are not be out of food.

I would say I would rate this as a 4 or 5... but....my family and friends has been coming to Seahorse Bar and Grill way before it was Seahorse Bar and Grill. We absolutely love the food and recommend it to everyone! But the service recently has gone down tremendously. When you have to ask for one or two things more than three or four times and never receive it.... to only ask again and receive a dirty look from your waitress is very disappointing. If the service continues to decrease instead of picking up with great employees who actually care about their customers, I think we might find a new restaurant/bar/hangout.

We were seated quickly, but it took several minutes to get a waitresses attention. When she took our order she seemed like it was very imposing on her. The ticket time was on par for bar and grill restaurants. My order was wrong, I ordered shrimp and got fish. Then the plate comes with rice and had to ask for it. The shrimp was cooked perfectly but the rice was an odd flavor pairing. The hamburger was subpar, but the steak fries were fried well and crispy. In my experience if the service is great it will make up for short comings in other areas and create repeat business. That was not the case tonight.

To be seated did not take long but the lady that seated us seem not very happy that we arrived there were seven of us. Once we got seated or drinks did not take too long and once we ordered our food did not take too long but we cannot believe how the prices were four dollars for a bowl of krafted box Mac Was ridiculous. When we got our food my little cousins plate was not ready. My mother did not like the fish at all. My salad was supposed to come with croutons which it did not I had to ask for them The overall price was absolutely ridiculous. We will not return to this restaurant
