I rarely write Google reviews, but the food here is so underwhelming for the price I felt I should... pretty sure this place is just plummeting in quality, because a year ago I ate So-Cal and dont recall it sucking. I placed a to go order and was told 5 minutes until it would be ready. That was suspicious in the first place. I had never been told 5 minutes on a to go order anywhere. Why? Because meat takes time to cook. Leads you to believe food has been sitting around or something. Hm. Weird, but I pick it up... Yeah I should have gone to taco bueno. Wouldve enjoyed it more and paid a lot less. Tacos have 3 or fewer ingredients on each, barely any flavor, and I think I liked the chips better than anything else.

worse place ever!! It was our first time here and we told the girl at the counter and she simply handed us a menu andsaid here. I order a salad and my husband order a taco and quesadillas (shrimp/ steak) our bill was $24 dollars a little expensive but if its good then i dont mind. We get our food and my chicken was dry and smelled old! And my husbands food was of the same quality. The manager on duty was horrible, i had to ask for my money back when i am the one who had to get up and tell them i didnt want it because if the smell and how dry the chicken was (i only took one bite) i will never go here again and i will make sure i let everyone know the bad experience we had here!

Run the other way! I will not be back and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! Its difficult to understand how they maintain such a high rating. I would give it a negative rating if it was possible. The steak meat was dry, the Al Pastor was awful and the fried fish taco tasted like a microwaved fish stick lathered with mayo and lettuce. The rice was clearly from an instant rice box: they served it burnt and the grains were undercooked. The 1 star is for cold beer. Youre better off going to Torchys in Southlake or Fuzzys in Grapevine- Youre stomach and wallet will thank you for it.

Disappointed. First visit and last all in one day. Ordered two tacos, should have gotten rice and beans, instead I get two big servings of beans because theyre out of rice all if a sudden. Not told upon ordering of course. The girl brings me about a tablespoon of rice that they must have dug out of the bottom of the pan. Didnt eat that because I wasnt sure where they got it from. Tacos were nothing but a tiny bit of steak and onion. Had to ask for the cilantro and some sauce. I paid what I thought was way too much money for something not much better than taco cabana.

WHEN... and I mean WHEN and IF..... they can EVER get an order 100% correct, (or even 80%), with the right meat, right toppings, etc...but they cannot. The tacos are actually very good. BUT... JUST A WARNING.... no matter if you order take out, eat in.... BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR ORDER.... over the last week they have NEVER gotten 5 separate take out orders correct....NOT ONCE!! Todays order was again INCORRECT.... whoever is putting these orders together cannot either read... or does not give a hoot.....

We recently had a company party and hired the So-Cal Tacos food truck to cater the event. From start to finish, they made everything simple. All the booking was done via email; we were able to put together our own menu; guests could order from the truck, but they also had a server bringing food directly to the guests. The price was reasonable and they didnt have any hidden fees. We didnt have to lift a finger for set up or clean up...why didnt we do this sooner?

Walked out. Too pricey, bad attitude. The on-duty manager was raising the prices on the menu board IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, and had a crappy attitude when asked about it. $2.75 for one 6-inch taco when you have to order at a counter and do all your own serving seems very excessive. Stick with Fuzzys or Taco Casa. We ended up going to Uncle Julios for about the same $$, but with wonderful sit-down service.

We have been there more than once at this point. The steak quesadillas are wonderful. However, the tacos are small, unimpressive and not very flavorful. If they have someone in playing an instrument and singing it is very loud. Once you get your food, you are on your own. You get our own drinks and ask for a tray if you have food leftover you want to take home. Get some steak quesadillas, to go.

saw their taco truck near my job near my job and I was real excited ( right I mean who doesnt get exited to see a taco truck) any who I placed my order and paid $7 dollars and some change for 2 tacos! the tortillas were cold and they were tiny !! I was so disappointed my coworker wasnt to happy about her fish tacos either but Ill let her review on her own. I dont think Ill ever eat here again

Unfortunately, a miss. I ordered no onions, got a mess of them. My two tacos were supposed to come with rice and beans. Didnt happen. We ordered tacos and two burritos for a family of 3 but were told we can have just 1 salsa...the guy did us a favor by giving us 2. They can only say the rice and beans were free. My family and I will not be back. Better street tacos at Los Albertos everyone.

Sooooooo mad and disappointed with this place, after driving a very long distance to give the place a shot, since I am a CA Valley Boy, for whatever reason they just cannot get the order correct?? Whether it is the meat type or the add-ons, it has been wrong on both my visits, I aint going back for strike three.... The food tastes grrreat, its a shame they have no order quality control:(

First time we went there our take home tacos had hair int hem. Called and complained and they gave us a $20 gift card. The we went there and they "lost" our order for over 30 minutes until I asked why over 10 parties had come in, got their food, and were done. They finally made our food after over 40 minute wait. Not impressed and have not gone back since.

I gave one star because the margaritas are good , the food is not so - cal . Tacos are over priced for quality of food , cold tortillas and not enough salsa or pico to give the flavor of a true California taco . 3.95 for a cold tortilla taco with onions and no cilantro or salsa is ridiculous. Try Bad Azz Burritos for great tacos and more at a honest price.

SoCal came out to our wedding venue in October we can not say enough good things about them! The service was impeccable, from the booking to serving the food. Everyone was great to work with, happy to help, and enjoyable. The FOOD was GREAT!! We are so happy with the choice to hire SoCal for our catering needs. We will definitely be using them again!

Excellent food and customer service. When our order came out wrong (new employee at order desk) they were quick to fix and apologize. Very tasty and plenty of food. Individual size tacos are a little pricey for size but that is only complaint ($4 per taco). My husbands burrito and kids quesadillas were very good and were reasonable in cost.
