I have wanted to try this restaurant for many years, and was looking forward to it. I was VERY disappointed. I have NEVER been treated so badly by a business owner. We ordered 2 meals, one was an entrée featuring a filet mignon. When our food arrived, the “filet mignon” was a symmetrically round piece of meat about 10” in diameter and less than ¼” thick, very uniform in thickness and shape. One bite was taken from the “filet”. It did not taste good. We asked the waiter for a different meal, as this clearly was not a filet mignon, and it did not taste good. He took the order, but informed us that we would be charged for both meals. This was unacceptable to us, considering that the meat was not good, and misrepresented on the menu. We asked for the manager, who offered to get the owner. The owner emerged from the kitchen and YELLED at us that his food was very good and “NO ONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED ABOUT HIS FOOD BEFORE”. We were shocked at his demeanor, and very surprised when he took out his cell phone and LOUDLY threatened to call the police on us if we did not pay for both of the meals. My companion offered him a valid driver’s license for current information to give to the police. He was so loud that everyone was turning around to look at us. The owner HUMILIATED and EMBARRASSED us. We placed one meal in a take out box and paid for it, and informed him that we would be in our car in the parking lot waiting for the police to arrive. We waited for about half an hour. He was working outside the whole time within 20 feet of us, and knew we were sitting in the car waiting for the police. I finally asked him how long it would be until the police came, and he informed me that he did not call them. He knew we were sitting in the car waiting for the police. Naturally, I will never return to this establishment.

Took a drive from Fort Worth based on the good reviews. For a Saturday at noon the place was packed. Didnt have to wait long though. The chips and salsa were very good! Couldve used a little heat though. I got an enchilada combo plate with chicken with salsa verde, beef with sour cream, and cheese salsa ranchero. All very good. Loved the rice and beans too! My wife had a cheese enchilada with queso, and chicken with sour cream. Hers was great as well! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will go back.

We had a delicious meal here and would come back if we didnt live so far away. Orlando was our waiter and he was phenomenal. I had the spinach quesadilla and my husband had a chimichanga. Both were excellent. Bathroom was Immaculate and large. The restaurant was very pleasing to the eye. The only negative personally is I prefer my chips to be fresher baked in hotter. Great job and kudos to Casa Torres. We need one in Southern Alabama. Lauren and Richard

We have been going to Casa Torres ever since they opened. They have some of the best beef fajitas, salsa, and chips you will find in north Texas. The servers are always friendly and helpful. There is not another restaurant in Decatur that will give you this kind of consistant quality and service. Because of this, they can be crowded during lunch and dinner hours. Try to arrive between 11 and 11:30 am or 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Mid-afternoon is not bad either.

Had not been in 10 years or so. Thought it was better then before.Price was extremely reasonable. And got plenty to eat. Will return and tell family and friends all about. Wont take 10 years for me to go back. Some of the other restaurants in DFW might take some pointers on how to run a restaurant. Very awesome place. W.CHAMBERLIN

Queso had no flavor, salsa was mediocre at best, the beef fajita meat was too tough to bite, and the service was less than desirable. I m disappointed because I had heard nothing but great things about Casa Torres and was looking forward to enjoying it. The ice water and frozen Margarita were great though...

Some of the best Mexican food in the state, much less in Wise County! Their new location is beautiful but they prices havent gone up (much?) since when I first went there. Theres a reason why its always packed in the evenings, Casa Torres never disappoints in terms of food, drink, value or experience.

Staff is a bit damaging to their business. I came in with a party of 12 to have dinner and expected a wait just to be told they were full. When I asked about a wait list the little boy shared they were full again. I think they may need new front staff. Not sure about the food, we went to Chilis.

Was told to leave by the management because I had my service animal. They banned my service animal from the property. If your a veteran and have a service animal do not go there to eat you will be asked to leave. The management has absolutely no respect for veterans

Its good Tex Mex at a reasonable price, the only downside is they are the only game in town and they know it, i just do not feel they push themselves as hard as they could to really be great, I recommend the beef fajita chimichanga with sour cream sauce!

Wonderful quality food. Served hot with fresh ingredients and friendly polite servers! Beautiful decor. The owners are frequently onsite so the good food and service are consistent! Busy place, and popular! My first choice for Mexican food.

We eat there all of the time. Very good food, staff are ALLWAYS very friendly, salsa is outstanding. They are in a new building as of September 2012. Recomend the Mexican tacos and the Carnitas. Puerco en Chili Verde is very good too.

Very poor service and when we asked for a new waitress from the manager or the owner he even snapped at my group! I didnt even eat my food and still payed for it and left. They lost my groups business after coming here for years.

Wow! The waiters were very efficient. The food was delivered very promptly after being ordered. We had more friends arrive after we were seated and the closest table was made available for our late arriving Friends next to us.

I really do not see the big deal here...well....it is the only Mexican restaurant in the city. That explains the long wait for a table. The food is just average. Nothing great. Not bad. Not good. Just something to eat.

The chips are the best ever. Salsa is great too. Everything I have ever eaten here was very good. Service is super quick and courteous. Only bad thing you could say about this place is that they need more parking.
