I decided to go to this restaurant for lunch with a friend the other day and i was highly disappointed : The service was astonishingly awful they took forever to greet us , we ask for a cup of coffee and it took forever to arrive and then the waitress never came back to take the order. I did have to ask a waitress that was nearby that we were ready to order and she reply that she was not our waitress and that we would have to wait for our waitress to take our orders. In the meanwhile I notice a couple of white costumers that they had arrive like ten minutes before us and they were already eanting. Finally our waitress came back for our orders and it took another well 30 minutes for our food to arrive. My friend still hungry started to eat his food (I have lost my appetite at this point) when I notice something in his food and ask him what is that? And it turns out it was the sticker some vegetables have ; he immediately spat his food all over his plate and I was outraged , like how is this possible if...if they do wash their vegetables , how they didnt notice that big white sticker. Anyway I ask for our waitress and asker could you explain this to me? She got all red and apologize and ask us if would like to talk to the manager , I reply yes i would like to have a few words with the manager . She when back into the kitchen and we waited for around 20 minutes finally she came back to us saying that the manager was to busy to talk to us and theres was nothing else she could do. Over all it was the worst time of my life , I have never been treated this way and what it hurts the most , is that I was racially mistreated by my own people. I would never, ever , ever go to this restaurant ever again ,not even if they would offer me eternal life with their food and service. L o l !!!!

I have been there several times due to working so close. EVERYTIME I go they screw up my order. I order beef and ALWAYS get chicken. Last time the manager laughed and said oh yes I remember you. I told him it happens all the time and he replaced the dish. Youd think Id get the meal free since everyone else was eating and I watched them while they made my new plate. Yesterday was the last straw. The rice was hard like it was scraped from the bottom of the pan and was cold. I told him about it and he brought me a small plate of fresh rice. They did not remove the hard rice off my plate. My daughter had the chicken taco salad and pulled bones out of it. I left the bones on the top of the check so they could notice. I had planned on ordering 200 breakfast tacos for a working breakfast but Im too afraid to see how they will turn out. I highly recommend waiting for it to close and wait until the next place opens.

Had to be the worst Mexican food Ive ever had. Taco Bell provides better. I never knew you could get Mexican food to taste so bland. I had the chimichonga with chicken. First off the tortilla was not chrispy, it was a soggy mess. The first thing that should come out of a chimichonga shouldnt be water. The chicken had to be boiled, then shredded. It was saturated with water with every bite. The chicken was accompanied by pico de gallo... ok. All surrounded in the soggy tortilla, yum. The rice and beans served with it had no flavor at all. The beans must have government issue, to be that tastless. It was can for sure. The only thing that tasted any good was the soda. Not even the chips were good. I could go on, but why bother. DO NOT EAT HERE! There are a ton of better places.

We like Mexican restaurants that are located in a corner of a shopping plaza, unnoticed by most except locals. Molcas was very clean and the service was good. The chicken flautas were fabulous--nice and crispy, but the picante sauce lacked bite except for a floating jalapeno chunk or two. The lunch menu has reasonable prices (about $7 or so) and it includes the price of tea--always gold-star-worthy in our book. Among the Groop, we were in and out in about 45 minutes on a weekday at noon. Looks like it could accommodate one Groop of about 8 to 10 people, but not much more room than that. Overall, good food, reasonable prices, but did not blow us out of the water.

If you want true authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. I have been going here for years now and they have great quality food full of flavor, their staff is always on point and their owners are very down to earth people. Horchata is by far one of the many things I love from there. I feel lucky to work near by and being able to eat there all the time. It reminds me of my beautiful Mexico lindo y querido!

Tortillas made fresh to order. The spicy fajitas come grilled with actual whole jalapenos. Its my dream come true. Salsa fresh, delicious, spicy, tart... perfect. The service is very, very sweet. All three times Ive been they havent had a good English speaker on staff, but thats fine. I know how to order good Tex Mex!! I cant get enough of this place. I tell everyone about it. I love it!!

I went in for breakfast while in town on business and was blown away by the quality of the food. Besides the typical egg-based breakfast tacos they also have some specialty tacos on the menu. I had 3: one fried avocado taco, one pork verde taco, and one barbacoa taco. All served on doubled-up corn tortillas and INCREDIBLE! I will make it a point to go back every time Im in town!

Not the prettiest place inside, but I'd rather they spend their $ on food quality anyway. Dont get me wrong, its clean, just not fancy. The food is outrageously good. I moved to Austin 18 months ago and have been searching for a place like this. The pork tips in red sauce is really good and their premade margaritas pack a punch!

This place is just fine for a neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I do love their mayan menu - the cochinita pibil is delicious! Anything with plantains is great in my book...We also tried their fried ice cream which was pretty good as well! Not the best, but did the trick. Their drink specials look enticing but I have yet to partake.

Wanted to give the neighborhood cafe a try but was greatly disappointed. The beans were under cooked and the CARNE GUISADA beef was extremely tough and chewy. Chips okay - tortillas were fine but the other basics were sub-par. Too bad - this will probably keep us from eating there again.

I got the chicken enchiladas with suiz sauce and I was greatly disappointed. The enchiladas were greasy. The rice was weird but definitely sub par. The beans were adequate and the "salad". Looked frozen. Go to taco bell instead if you want cheap food. Or the torchys right across the street

Everything tastes microwaved, the service is mediocre, the atmosphere is depressing. Given the sheer number of excellent Mexican restaurants, not just in the city, but even in this area of town, its a surprise that they havent gone out of business.
