Had the worst service at the one in Addison. First to start we waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by our server. After a second we notice that Kristen had a very poor and rude attitude. After waiting another 10 minutes we finally received our water. Now, why would you serve a table of 4 four dirty cups with water? Seriously! With that being said we sent back our four cups of water and still waited another 10 minutes to receive our beverage. Remind you all that we have not even received chips and salsa. When we were sitting at the table waiting we noticed our waitress Kristen giving a table a bowl of chips that already had a full bowl of chips. Now, once we received our beverage, my margarita had a bug in it and the glass was also very dirty. I couldnt even bare to stay any longer after that. We asked to speak to the manager and he seemed to be nervous to confrontation about his rude employees. Since the manager left us standing there for another 10 minutes I took the initiative to speak to another employee. Stephanie! I simply walked up to Stephanie and politely asked her for the corporate number. She rollers her eyes at me and pointed in another direction and stated, "the manager is over there." She rolled her eyes again and continued doing what she was doing. I asked her her name and she aggressively said,"Stephanie". Then rolled her eyes again. I just walked away, still waiting on the manager. Its so sad that we had to drive another 15 minutes to another On The Boarder to receive some good service. They need to clean house at the Addison location! The manager had no control and the employees mentioned are definitely the definition of disrespect. I would never return to this location.

We are regulars for taco Tuesday every week over the last few months, but the last few weeks have felt like outsiders and with every " disturbance" they look funny at us becuse we had an incedent a few weeks ago, which I admit was my bf kinda blowing things out of proprtion, it was Saturday night! He ordered cantina nachos! The waitress didnt tell him they were not served at that time! Rather she put in the order for regular nachos. Then acted shocked when he got the order of full nachos and was mad. As you know the " cantina nachos" are substantially smaller than the "regular nachos" and about $7 difference. We got the wrong order and did not complain , nor did we " discipline" the waitress for her wrong doing in her tip?.... yet tonight I get a Text from the " bartender"( who we made friends wirh him and his girlfriend who also works there who caused the first dispute) tonight to not text him anymore and to stay away from taco tuesdays when they are there. As "regulars" I think this was not the way to aporaoch any situation. Long story short.... we will not be going to "taco tuesdays" anymore for a while

I had order carryout for just chips, beans and sopapillas on Saturday 15 at 6:05pm, I used to love this place and you would think for something so simple it woudnt be a problem. Well we got there 5 minutes before our order was due we were just waiting in the pick up area and no one was there till finally someone told us that we had to go pick it up were the bar tender is and the bartender did not even know what to do that he just went back and started fooling around with other employees, he finally gave us our order at 6:20!!!! I was there waiting with my baby for this simple order and was not ready on time never received an apology or am excuse on why it took for ever. Such a horrible experience never again will step in that place! I work for a corporate place and we used to order from them I let them know of the situation and we will fine a better place that knows what they are doing we are boycotting them for good now and will let other people know. Take your money some were else and find better service!!!!

Went to On The Border in Addison on a Sunday. This is the first time Ive been to On the Border in almost 10 years due to living in states without it. I was greeted promptly and even had a nice conversation with the host since it wasnt busy. My server quickly arrived and introduced herself (Morghan) and her trainee (Courtney I believe). They were friendly, informative, and a fun pair. They were great at offering recommendations and even gave me a complimentary queso since I hadnt been to OTB in so long. Even more impressive was that the manager(Russell?) came up and spoke with me, and was even running orders and making rounds at all the tables. Overall I was impressed with the customer service. I saw all the negative reviews and it seems like the owners have noticed and are making changes. Its a fun place for Tex-Mex.

My experience was awful!!!! I went on a sunday evening. The restaurant was almost empty. On our seated side was 2 other cpuples besides our family. The server took for ever just to bring our drinks anx queso. Once we were done we put our empty plates aside nice and neat for her. She walked several times by our table ignoring the pilled dishes. I had to ask her to please take the plates out of our way.(mind you she was flirting and on ber phone instead of paying attention to our table) we waited for our order for about 30 minutes. When we finally received our food it was cold. Our food tasted stale and hard to make it short NOT FRESH AT ALL. I would not recommend this place.

Nothing, service was terrible, we went today to on the border at Beltline in Addison , first they make us wait for more than 10 minutes , the reazon was no tables for more than 5people , then , they give us a table ,and wait again for more than 20 minutes again and nobody show and offer us even water , ask for a manager and no manager around , what kind of restaurant is this one? No manners, no customer service , no respect, makes us felt like our money was not good enough, for them , never , never going to even think comeback, to that place , was special day for my son hes graduation sorry ON THE BORDER but you not even worth loosing my time

If you order "to go" from this location, your order WILL be incorrect....you can count on it! First I tried mentioning it to several different managers but nothing improved. Then I contacted guest relations but again saw no improvement. Please notice how much lower the "ratings" are for this location than for other OTB locations. The reason why is because THEY JUST DONT CARE. I finally wised up & found a solution: (I am never going back!) It felt so good to delete their phone# that I actually had on speed dial.....I should have done it sooner. They just lost a five year customer that visited weekly but guess what? THEY JUST DONT CARE!

Im not a picky eater at all but I do have an allergy (bad allergic reaction) and I have never had a problem at any other restaurant asking for my food without pork or change it for another meat, the manager however is the most disrespectful man, not nice, not cooperative always arguing with the costumer. How sad its that. It was my first time visiting ON THE BORDER restaurant and after a hospital visit Im pleased to say Im never going back nor will I recommend this place to anybody. However the general manger was very polite to my husband thats why I give it a one star review.
