I was meeting with a group of 6 ladies there this morning at the suggestion of one of the ladies. Myself and one other friend arrived before the rest of our group. My friend and I both are not coffee drinkers thus we brought in our own tea. Yet the rest of the women planned to order some coffee when they arrived. As we waited for our friends we were approached twice by the employees. The first lady asked if she could help us and we told her we were waiting for a few friends to arrive. The second was a man who asked if we were having a meeting and again we said we were waiting for our friends. I asked him if there was a problem with us being there and in a loud voice he said this is a business and these seats are for our customers. He said it so loud everyone around us could hear. After our next friend arrived she ordered and we left and went to Yummies doughnuts to meet. Ive never been treated so rudely at a service oriented business before. Not only will I never set foot in there again, I will tell all my friends not to go!!

Drip Coffee is awesome. Basically, the couple of things that make this place awesome are the fact that they roast their own beans, and the employees are phenomenal. The decor could stand some re-doing but thats a matter of personal opinion. I love the store front, but something about the Feng-shui inside was off... the seating, decor, etc... I dont know. I just prefer the decor at Crooked Tree or Opening Bell... thats just me I think. The people I saw attracted here were the stuck up, "I pretend like I have a lot of money" crowd... that could just be that I went in at 8am on a Friday morning. ANYWAY, the baristas were not stuck up, as youll find in most local Starbucks, and the coffee was fantastic. Ill definitely be in again, and its really a great location for meetings.

The folks at Drip Coffee take their espresso seriously. Their lattes are steamed with great care towards ideal temperature, their beans are roasted on site, and theyre attentive to customers needs. Im not a huge flavor syrups guy; but my perusal of their options suggests anyone who is wont be that impressed with the options Ive never had to wait in a long line or felt that their staff had to rush to prepare my beverage. The decor is vaguely moddish, so the place lacks some warmth; but is very attractive. I do wish the patio faced south instead of north (more sunshine in the winter!); but thats a minor nit. Excellent experience!

I have been a coffee drinker since my grandmother taught me when I was a child. The coffee at Drip is as good as any I have had anywhere in the world. The owner roasts beans every day and the brews are expertly prepared by staff who know their trade. The decor is utilitarian modern, not the usual comfy, hip style favored by others. But the place is meticulously clean and orderly--no cream or sugar on the counter, no crumbs or napkins on the floor. The staff are well chosen for attitude and ability to offer fast, friendly service. In summary: if its the coffee that is important to you, Drip has no equal in Dallas.

After having cup after cup after cup over the years of my latte consisting of a shot that sat too long mixed with scorched milk from "that place" and many "other places," its so nice to know that the guy who thought that if it wasnt good enough for him to drink that it wasnt good enough for customers has finally opened a coffee shop in the metroplex! My latte was perfect. Its been 10 years since I moved from Amarillo and its nice to finally have a cup of coffee where the beans were roasted that day. Where they dont let shots sit too long and they know by touch the temperature of the steamed milk.

I naively thought only Starbucks could deliver consistent quality coffee drinks until I visited Drip Coffee. Drip Coffee has the best coffee I have ever had. I will never go to Starbucks again if I am within 20 miles of Drip Coffee - its that delicious. The owner/roastmaster of Drip really knows his stuff, while serving the best coffee at good value. Dallas needs more good locally owned businesses like Drip Coffee. Good folks serving great coffee!

The worst $4 coffee Ive ever had. You think its gonna be a nice coffee bar with finely-tuned roasts for each type of bean. Nope. They "specialize in dark roasts," I was told after the fact, which I take to mean that they burn the living daylights out of what would otherwise be acceptable beans. I would recommend McDonalds finest brew or coffee that you get on airplanes sooner than I would recommend Drip Coffee.

Well Im hooked. They not only have a great location, great clientele that go in and out on a regular. Its a great place to sit for hours and chat or work. But more importantly they have some of the best coffee bean options and DONT BURN THEIR COFFEE!! Woohoo! Everyone who works there is friendly and its a few times a week kind of place for us. Stop in and try it.

They sell EXCEPTIONAL fresh roasted coffee beans. I liked the cappuccinos and lattes I ordered there but really its hard to mess those up. I havent had a doppio or something of the like to really test the waters. As a home barista I can say that the coffee you can make at home with their beans (If you know what youre doing, lol) is quite something!

I had a wonderful time at my Drip Coffee visit. They put an incredible amount of time and effort into an authentic experience. A wide variety of brews and custom drink assortments had me back, several times, for more. The staff and employees are quality, even in the busiest of rushes. If in Highland Park, this is the spot to be. Check it out.

Yes, its a bit overpriced, but its unique and local and they care about coffee. You can definitely get the normal stuff here, but try something new like special cookies, cold brew nitro coffee, or a different newspaper.

The coffee was good. I came here to meet a new friend, and we both enjoyed our drinks! The only thing I didnt like was the seating layout... I felt like I was sitting in the lap of the person one table over...

Definitely not for the "coffee connoisseurs". The mud theyre slinging here is the type that makes you wish you had mouthwash on you after. Might be ok if you like a lot of sugar in your coffee, I guess.

Was advertised as catering to the specialty coffee crowd. This was absolutely not the case. All beans were full city plus (read: starbucks), which was unfortunate given the large variety or coffees.

I have been a loyal customer since they have opened. The coffee is superb, the service is fast and friendly and the roasted coffee is the best in Dallas. They deserve 6 out of 5 stars!

New Dallas favorite. Staff is friendly and SUPER knowledgeable. If you like your baristas to know enough to make recommendations then this is the place for you.
