Slow delivery, bad customer service. We orderd before 12pm, were told the food will be delivered by 1-15pm. Mind you that is already over 1 hour worth of time. We said fine, placed the order. 1:20pm, no food, we call the restaurant they hmm haa and say that their supervisor is making the delivery and that she is "lost" should be 5mins. 1:30pm - called again and asked where the food was and explained that we are on a time crunch. Was told that she was close and that he was calling her on her cell phone. I aked for a call back with an updated status. 1:40pm food arrives, the lady that delivered it said that they gave us large drinks for something she mumbled. As soon as she walks out at 1:42pm, get a call from the store (12mis after I asked for a call back) saying "oh she said when I called her that she literally was driving up" I said she just walked out so no she was not driving up 12 mins ago. Then I expressed to this gentleman that our food was cold. To which he replied " I dont see how since we got it right out" REALLY !!! I had to call 3 times to find out where it was. at 1:20 it was already in the car being "lost" I told him I do not care about the large drinks the lady came in saying she brought, I just wanted a more accurate ETA and my med drink was fine. He stayed quiet for a while to which I said you have great customer service. Love their food, will be going to a different branch. IF they are too busy to deliver, either get adequetly staffed or dont deliver. We are at work with a limted amount of time for our lunch break. Eating cold chicken and potatoes in a rush is not how I would chose to spend my lunch break. He mumbled that he was giving a discount on our tab, but again that is not the point. Bad customer service, Cold Food, Slow Delivery. Will not be ordering from this branch again.

This place is one of the best chicken places around. Every single one of their sides is superb and the quality of their food is better than any other chicken places around (like Boston Market). Not to mention the price makes Cowboy Chicken the only chicken place Ill visit. All their chicken is hot and ready to go so ordering is very quick. Their chicken enchiladas are so good youll write home about it. For side I usually go with your typical mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Beware though once you try either youll probably be addicted. My girlfriend and our friends have tried all the other sides from the fried okra to green beans to the ranchero beans and everything in between. I have honestly never seen anybody dissapointed in anything theyve ordered from Cowboy Chicken. A few months ago my dad mentioned they had great grilled chicken salads; I tried it once and now thats all I ever get. I love how they dice the tomatoes and cucumbers so you arent left with huge pieces of vegetables that explode in your mouth; instead you get extremely reasonable sized pieces that are much more edible and enjoyable. The ratios of ingredients makes every bite incredible; I wish theyd include a bit more chicken but I suppose I could always ask for more. Dont get me wrong they do give you a fair amount usually one full breast but I just love their chicken. The manager Juan is also very nice and always in a great mood which always makes the trips down there that much better (I hate dealing with people who dont seem like they enjoy their job). The only thing I wish they would change is adding a to-go line since sometimes I feel bad having to jump in front of people to get my to-go order; hopefully corporate will change this but alas Cowboy Chicken is still my go-to place for all my chicken needs.

-- BEWARE OF LONG WAITS DURING LUNCH -- I went during the lunch rush last Monday around noon. The food was pretty good, but it took about 35 minutes from the time I walked in the door to when I got my food. Anyone with a limited lunch time should steer clear. Also of note, the staff was fairly disorganized. Granted, they were under a lot of pressure with so many patrons lined up and even more waiting on their orders, but several orders were lost or taken incorrectly and they were not especially apologetic to the three customers I overheard with issues. It will be my last time visiting during lunch.

Extremely slow service. Waitress on the phone, on her cell phone, on the computer. I finally returned to my seat. I would have left but my wife wanted to stay. Finally everyone working there was on their cell phones except the cook. We did eventualy get our order taken. The wifes food was very good, I ordered the enchiladas, very filling but for some reason all the food in Dallas is starting to get spicy. If I want spicy food I would like to order it for myself not get ambushed. Pinto were so so, corn fritters flash cooked from frozen. Might go back but no time soon.

this cowboy chicken sucks. the enchilada sauce looked like green spoiled milk. took almost two hours to get my food by delivery. mac & cheese has alot of burnt pieces. ordered a fry as a side and got 11 fries. what do they do to this enchilada sauce behind closed doors? it looks old and rotten, and the smell confirms my beliefs as well as the taste. the cowboy chicken on lovers lane is how ever the best I have ever had.

I have always loved Cowboy Chicken and needed to have it delivered for the first time. I will NEVER ever do that again. I ordered today at 4:02pm and was told my order would arrive between 5:20 and 5:30. At 5:47 I called and asked about my order and was told their driver had just arrived and it would be 20 more minutes before I would get it. It is now 7:01pm and I still dont have my order!

Been eating at Cowboys since we moved here! Started down on Greenville in Dallas and worked our way up. Always good! Had a 3 piece dark meal tonight, but Im always wanting the enchiladas too..... And the sides? The tangy cucumber and tomatoes, always makes me feel like Im at a picnic. Twice baked potatoes are a meal on their own! Love it!

If there was an option for no stars I wouldnt put any!!! I ordered my food a whole hour before my lunch break. Was told it would arrive at 1145am-12pm it is now 12:19pm with 11 min for my break to be over and they still arent here worst customer service beyond belief. Cold. Late! I cant deal NEVER AGAIN!

I really love the creamed spinach and twice baked potatoes here. My kids love the drumsticks, and I appreciate all the healthy options and that the prices are reasonable for our family. I personally am bummed that they removed the grilled chicken from the menu, but the rotisserie is good, too.

Second time I go back for bad food.. first one was sweet potato was with worms cooked inside..an I understand you cant see that.. ok its fine.. this time I ordered enchiladas the chicken inside had rotten smell and taste like vinager. .. well the good thing is they give something else .. :/
