Corpus has so many Asian restaurants with so little Asian customers in them. And most are over rated with inedible food. Not sure why this restaurant is so highly rated. I cant call this Korean food. Its more like Korean-ish for non-Asians. I suppose if you didnt grow up with the stuff its okay. This place is what Panda Express or Pei Wei is to Chinese food. Or Pizza Hut is to Italian food. Or Spam is to American food.

I had the spicy chicken and it was good, not great. It was tender but could have had more flavor. The pork dumplings and the egg rolls were pretty good. The tempura shrimp was very tasty and perfectly cooked. I would order all items again but I wouldnt order the cabbage salad as a side. The side of black beans was good. Very friendly. Id like to bring my family here.

Their menu is small but it is done WELL. Imagine if you were a person who only practiced on exact recipe over and over for years? Thats basically the quality of their Bulgogi. Its amaaazing. Even though the variety is small you wont be able to say no to having the dish day after day. Love to stop by when Im in Corpus!

Impeccably clean - Bright, pleasant atmosphere - The dude whos usually at the counter is always a delight to talk to - The spiciest recipe is ACTUALLY SPICY - All of the food is so delicious its basically habit-forming, and the portions are enormous. All-in-all, this is one of my favorite places to eat in Corpus.

the John asap review is a scam. Its reviews all are bad and in different states and countries. Trust me. Im local mother with kids. This place is flawlessly spotless. Clean Clean Clean. Ive been hter a dozen or more times and Ive never seen any bugs. The bbq with the sprouts is fabulous and unique, Try them!

The restaurant is managed by a kindly Korean man, who was more than happy when I asked for a photo. So I could help further promote the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions large enough to feed two. I would suggest the popular 911 version meals for anyone interested in spicy food.

Been coming here on and off for about 3 years. The quality of food is always consistently delicious with extremely polite service. If youre craving some Korean soul food tapered to a western palate, dont hesitate to feast here. Great portions in a clean atmosphere at reasonable prices.

Quick and delicious Korean food. Super simple menu. I highly suggest the bulgolgi, a thinly sliced flank steak marinated in a Korean BBQ (soy sauce-based instead of the traditional American tomato based sauce), which is served over white rice.
