After driving for god knows how many hours, the food was exactly what I wanted: simple. Its nothing extraordinary when it comes to Korean food but it was good home cooking. The banchans were eh-okay but I really appreciated their no nonsense sticking to authentic Korean choices. I felt like some of the prices to their food counterparts was way overpriced. Like the kimchi fried rice being $9...I dont think any kimchi fried rice anywhere is worth that mu Ive had better of everything I ate there elsewhere but for it being in Lubbock, I was really impressed.

I eat here at least once a week. I love the food and the atmosphere. The number 22 is my favorite soup, it is always delicious. My husband gets the number 16, korean bbq, yum yum! If you come here and dont know what to get the short rib soup is amazing, if you have the money i would definetly splurge on it. Its vegetarian friendly place with some vegan options, alot of the veggies have gish sauce so watch out! The number one with crispy tofu was my previous favorite. This place is the best and i always look forward to dinning here!

Been going here ever since it first opened. The owner is always so nice and welcoming. Being Korean, I know the cuisine and can honestly say the food here is excellent! Im so thankful we have this restaurant for when I need delicious home cooked Korean food:-) My favorite is the dumpling soup on cold days, the Bi Bim Bop is my usual go to, and the beef short ribs plate is always an excellent choice. My white husband (hahaha) and kids like the fried pork cutlets with the bbq sauce.

Yesterday,I and my husband visited this restaurant. We had Mandu gukand Kimbap for lunch. The food was amazing! I didnt expect I could taste authentic korean flavor in Lubbock. (I am korean and my husband is american) He enjoyed Mandu guk a lot. Not only the dishes we ordered, their side dishes were also veey good. The owner and server were so nice too! When I visit Lubbock next time, I will def visit there again.

The food is great. As I walked in the atmosphere could be improved but then again its just self serve, but overall the atmosphere needed some music. The food was excellent. The food was freshly made and served. The dishes use authentic ingredients unlike pei wei. There is something about the place that would make me return and thats its authenticity.

“Great for festive dinner” I hadnt been back to the Hub City (do they still call it that?) in years, and we had a group of 12 coming together for a football weekend. One of the ladies who lives there recommended The West Table, and we werent disappointed. I chose the chicken fried elk - primarily out of curiosity - and it was nicely...

Food is very good, but it is so popular that seating can be a problem. When we went, the owner wouldnt serve us food until some people departed to create room for us to sit down. If you are planning to go with a larger group, I would find somewhere else, especially during popular times. They really could use a bigger location.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Lubbock. It is by far the cleanest restaurant Ive been to -- the place is immaculate! The food is simple and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. A great family-owned restaurant that cares about providing the customer with an enjoyable eating experience. The Bulgogi is amazing!

The food here is amazing and unique. The tonkatsu was absolutely amazing, the crunchy texture combined with the delicious pork was amazing. And this came with a very funky but delicious sauce that was amazing. And it has a nice calm atmosphere;with everyone being nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place!

Seriously some of the best, most flavorful Korean food, I have ever had the pleasure to taste. This place doesnt draw you in with flashy signs or a fancy building. In fact its in a shopping strip and its pretty casual but still it is incredibly authentic and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

Best Korean food I have had ANYWHERE is the US...hidden away in a small business plaza on 50th Street in Lubbock. The owner is really friendly, and the food is amazing. Even if you dont like Korean, you MUST try this place (large portions too!). Try the Gim Bap (cooked sushi rolls) and the Spicy Chicken Galbi.

What an amazing little slice of Korea right in Lubbock. A gem. One of the only truly great places to eat in this town. Dont go if youre expecting another Americanized Chinese food experience, youll only complain... these guys do Korean and its damn good and the real thing. A+ outstanding.

The service is wonderful! The food is delicious! Everything is freshly cooked to order! My husband spent two years in Korea and grew familiar with Korean cuisine. He said the food here was very authentic! Like he as back there again! We just loved the atmosphere and cant wait to go back!

We werent looking for ambiance, just good food, and boy did we get it! The person at the counter recommended the house calzone. I went with it. It was the BEST Ive ever eaten; crisp crust that wasnt too thick, cheese thats not over the top, perfect combination of ingredients. Yum.

First time this past week, everything was extremely good. Ordered the beef and spare rib and some other stuff I dont know. The cute girl at the front was very helpful explaining everything to me, she went above and beyond. The food was very good. Definitely going back.

The staff was very polite and the place is clean. The fried sweet potatoes are spectacular! If you dont like Korean food dont go here. I didnt enjoy any of the food that I got, but I dont think it has anything to do with quality and everything to do with personal taste.

The food is wonderful, the staff is so very polite and make you feel welcome. Love the outfits and the inspirational messages on the walls. The homey feel make your meal delightful. Get there early before the pie of the day is gone. Only open from 6 am -2 pm.

This is the one and only place where you can get Korean food in Lubbock. The food options are pretty close to what i had in Seoul and really good. Try their bulgogi, fried chicken cutlet aka chicken katsu or cap jae for beginner and the galbijjim is my fave.

Exceptionally authentic Korean food for West Texas and a true gem. Here you will find an eclectic mix of international students from Tech in a quiet humble setting and the owner demonstrates some of the best hospitality and customer service in the city.

Delicious. Courteous. Seems authentic. Generous with food. I also see native Koreans eating here, which is always a good sign. In remote location, but still plenty of customers. I like this restaurant so I hope this review will get you to try it out. :P

The owner is very nice, the food is delicious and authentic. My family goes there for dinner a couple of times every month. Last month we visited a Korean restaurant called Da Won in Plano, Texas and we think Seoul is much better than Da Won.

Best out of any Asian cuisine Ive found in Lubbock. This ties Shogun and Hayashi for my favorite food, and its definitely more affordable. Im also very impressed that the spicy dishes are incredibly flavorful, and not overwhelmingly spicy.
