Came back to town to go to our favorite Korean place. Only to find out that the owner sold it last month. How sad. We decided to give it a chance. We ordered our usual fair. Waitress was ruff but we let it slide. We should have let that be our omen, things started going down hill from there. After we got our drinks, she came backed and tossed our silverware and a plate on the table. She would then come back and shove each dish we ordered at us. We asked for extra plates, and she grudgingly threw them on the table. By than we were out of drinks. We waited about twenty minutes and were about to yell for attention when she came over and threw boxes and our ticket at us. We almost choked when we saw the ticket, it was alot higher than we expected. We added it up ourselves twice only to find that there was about a twelve dollar discrepancy. She got annoyed at us looking over the ticket, and decided to interject. She told us she had done ot right. She went over the charges and we had to stop her at service charge of $12. She said we were charged that since we were a party over six. So she wanted us to pay her to ignore the three adults and three kids at our table, while she paid more attention to the other people in the restaurant .we refused to pay her service charge or give her any kind of tip.we used to love going there when Laverne owned it, now its just crappy.

The food was good.Its the FOOD,definitely not the level of customer service that allowed me to eat there on 3 different occasions.My family & I ate at the Seoul Restaurant last night,and the waitress has HORRIBLE customer service skills.She treated us as if we were peasants!We ordered our food to go but before she came to take our order she made us sit down while she tended to her work obligations, waited tables,obliviously ignoring us and our needs.When my husband paid for our meals she acted like he had some contagious disease because she avoided him touching her & vice versa.The disrespectful / rude waitress didnt even give us our food once my husband was done paying,she left it sitting on the table closest to the front door.I WAS LIVID and had thoughts of giving her a piece of my mind. I took the high road out of respect for my kids.My family & I will never spend our hard earned dollars at that restaurant as long as we reside in El Paso!

I love the food but the waitress the one with the short hair very rude. I have gone to eat there several times but when she is there i have horrible service time after time. Also she over charges when she wants and not onces have i been given and itemized recipient even when i asked nicely because i order same thing evey time and when i try to ask how she got that she kicks in the language barrier act. I pay just to not make a big deal i figure she needs it and still tip decent. But honestly very horrible service unless you white. I seen other customers get itemized recipients with no problems but when i ask its a problem. Also any military people get treated well because they have more money. So all this to really tell u the type of establishment it truly is. She ignores me and i have to send my daughter to ask for items. No hospitality and im sorry the language barrier act all bull

Terrible experience. The waitress was horrible, cant believe that one can get this kind of customer service. It took us 10 minutes to sit, and 15 more minutes before the waitress came to take our drink order. After another 10 minutes she came to take the food order. I asked her for bibim-baap with tofu. She said that the kitchen is busy and they cannot take the order containing tofu takes much more time to cook than the standard fares. What nonsense!!! Apparently it takes more times to cook tofu than beef!! I immediately got up and left as any self rejecting person would do. I rate this place the worst ever I have gone to.

I dont go to this restaurant often but, when i do, it is a wonderful place to be. The owner Mr. Levern is Always very welcoming! The staff is friendly, the environment is comfortable you just feel at home! And believe me there arent many places where you can sit down and just feel so comfortable that you feel right at home. I recently visited this establishment and to my surprise found out that they make Sushi! I usually travel to the other side of town to get it but this place is on my side and down the street! I havent had the opportunity to try the sushi but, i will and i cant wait!

its good food. the waitress sometimes seems rude. its not so much that they are mean, they just are very short and you just have to learn to deal with it. if you cant handle it, dont go. another thing I HATE is when I order over the phone for carry out. they ALWAYS forget my EGGROLLS!! so, if you do order, make sure you check everything before you take it. they pack everything nice and tight and knotted for you so that is the reason we dont check, but next time I will make them open everything and check.

The food was okay.but the waitress is horrible!!i tried to speak to her in korean but she said she dont speak korean and after she told me that, she started to speak korean to her co-worker!wtf?!rude!and the way she look at us,shes mad and grumpy!holy cow how can the owner of this place let them work in there!she is totally bad for the business!!!i would never go back to this place!!ive been in korea for 7 yrs but i never encounter this kind of a treatment!!i wouldnt recommend this place.!!

I would like to add another comment to sandras statement as well. Ive been going to seoul restaurant since I was a little kid and I myself have never seen a woman pushing a little cart around and recycling food. First off theres not a lot of space to be pushing a cart and second off why would anyone try to recycle food in front of customers???? All I have to say to that is whatever. This place has been making great korean food for God knows how long and I always come back for more.

I had a bad experience with the waitress. The place is 3 quarters empty and she want to sit us next to the cold entrance doors. She was reluctant to give us another table and she made all these dislike faces. She gets behind my back and asks us what we want to drink and I thought this very rude. Customer service is really bad, I have never been treated so rude in a restaurant. The food is good, but I wont return. I will take my business where I am appreciated.

I LOVE Seoul Restaurant. Ive been going there for years. I no longer live in El Paso but when Im back I always go there to eat. Its a must stop for my travel plans. Every Korean restaurant I go to is measured against Seoul and so far they never stand the comparison. I dream of their Yahkimandu and Bulgogi. I cant recommend this restaurant enough. Not only is the food fabulous but the staff and the owners make you feel like at home.
