Decor was nice. Food was bad. It is a small buffet with very few choices. They do have a nice size sushi bar that is maned, looks ok. Im not a sushi fan, I prefer traditional Chinese food, Habachi and Tai. This place has one issue, the management. Food was left on the buffet to dry out and over cook instead of refreshing the old with new (it was old, and the think sauces turned it into a sticky smelly caramel) they were waiting until most of all of it was gone. I could tell people wanted the crab legs but were waiting on fresh that never came, instead they (the staff) kept going around the buffet spooning the dishes together in a center mass in a clumsy effort to make their bad food look appetizing (including those poor old crab legs). Food quality was poor, like that was the cheapest food that they could have delivered to them by their supplier. Eat at your own caution. If the front of house is that bad you can only imagine about the back.

As far as the best all you can eat Chinese buffet that I have found thus far that is south of I-20 in the general vicinity of Hwy 67 and I-35E , Bamboo Palace has to be it. The sashimi is not loaded with rice, the food is fresh and delicious, and the staff is usually friendly. Be warned though, it is crowded on weekends, and the crab during dinner goes quickly. The only negative I can really think of is that some of the patrons have decided to scratch up the bathroom mirror and break sink faucets, but that is due to the patrons, not the restaurant itself. Even despite this, Bamboo Palace continues to shine in food and service.

Compared to other chinese food buffets its about the same. The decor is very nice inside. During the dinner hours the food stays fresh until close to closing hours. I did see them basically pouring hot water onto the dishes once when I came in very late. So I assume they leave the food sitting there overnight and mix it with a fresh batch in the morning so they dont waste food. The prices arent bad at all. I normally come in and get a to-go plate during the lunch hours. Im able to get a full container for about 5 bucks every time. The only other complaint is that the ice cream machine is broken half of the time.

The food was great.. large section of sushi and other Chinese buffet styled food. Was busy which is always a good sign for a restaurant.. and not sure if it was just because I went on a Saturday but they had actual hard shelled crab legs!! Instant 4 stars right there! Its so hard to find decent crab legs last place they tasted like hard boiled eggs.. well worth the 25min drive for me from Dallas..

Been eating here since they first opened a few years ago. The food never disappoints. Sometimes the servers are overly eager about the check, mainly the ladies. Making you pay not even 30 minutes into enjoying your meal. The guys are pretty relaxed. But other than that, no complaints. Everything is clean. Oh, and almost forgot... crab legs!

Have visited this restaurant before and its always decent. I never eat the meat at any Chinese buffets. My friend ate the orange and sesame chicken, wings and chicken on the stick. Out of one of those items, she got food poison. She couldnt even go to work today. Feel bad I suggested the place. Never going there again.

very good. You should try it. I use to go there everyday. But we moved so i cant eat at that place anymore. only way is to drive an hour and thirty minutes. The food is extremely good, especially the sushi. they have almost anything you can imagine except for american fast food

The food is terrible. The only thing I could eat were the spring rolls and apple turnover. They took too long to bring out fresh food. I will NEVER eat here again. They seem too wrapped up in their decor than their food. I would rather eat at Panda Express than this place.

Eaten there three times and each time its fresh and well stocked with sushi...thinking about it now makes me want to go tomorrow. Pretty good for its smaller size, besides this one the only other Chinese buffet we eat is in Arlington off Cooper St, China Harbor.

Bathrooms look like bridge hang in Harlem. Must be a turf battle going on in that rest room. No restaurant in this area has gang markings in their bathrooms. Maybe the sushi chef does this before he leaves. Good potstickers and crab rangoons

Not too bad.... I felt the food couldve been a little more fresher since I didnt go at opening time. I believe some of the meet was from the night before, but thats just my opinion. Restaurant is clean and inviting. I would go again

Food was okay, but the apple turnover was amazing. The thing I didnt like was the overwhelming smell of seafood when you walk in. I am not a seafood person so the smell bothered me and kind of turned off my appetite.

Large buffet, polite wait staff, great variety of good food. Tasty. Priced about $10.00 + drink ordered separately. Location is easily accessible - just off hwy 67 next door to Best Buy.

This is quite simply the best buffet I have ever eaten at. All of these dishes are stand alone as a perfect meal. The Sushi bar alone is worth three times the cost of the buffet.

Adults $10.99, Kids (3-12) $7.99. It is an all you can eat Asian buffet. Sushi, fruit, general chinese cuisine. At dinner they serve Crab legs. Overall OK. Drinks not included.

Its an all-you-can-eat buffet. That means dry food but plenty of it. Not the worst place to go to in town, especially considering that all others are more or less anemic chains.

Im a asian buffet lover, and this by far is the cleanest kindest and best tasting chinese buffet around, although i do inly go to the dinner buffet, the lunch is so so regurlar

Food is normally very fresh. If you go at a really off hour like 830 on a thursday maybe not so much but it will still be a lot fresher than alot of other buffet places.

Food was bland and dry, from the noodles to the "orange chicken", embarassing when you actually have to FIND a clean plate from the mountain of dishes available.

It has some decent sushi for a buffet place. The decor is awesome. Has a lot of decent food to choose from. One of the best Asian buffets Ive come across.

Good food. Lots of choices. They replenish often. Almost forgot, a hair was in my soup. Almost gave up the rest of meal but too many choices to pass up
