I go there when I am hungry and will want a dessert. Lately the food has been terrible. They have ruined a wonderful dressing they keep back by the lettuce and whoever is making it I think is using garlic salt for garlic powder and it is inedible and one of the main reasons I go there to eat. The main meat serving is always screwed up. You cant get a piece of beef cooked as you would like it. I paid $14 yesterday to get a piece of rare prime rib. That was all there was for the money. It was so rare it was cold and not cooked and I had to throw most of it away. Usually the beef is so overcooked it is inedible. But there are lots of veggies and baked potatoes and the fried chicken is excellent if you can find a piece of white meat or wings. This is not one of the better run Golden Corrals.

I always ask for medium rare and they give me well done, and the meatloaf was my favorite up until now. The meatloafs new flavor taste like its been dropped on a dirt road laced with a hint of chemicals. I told the cook about it and he replaced it only to have it taste the same so its obviously a new horrible recipe.... The cooks are lazy and simply dont care about the job so why should I care about this establishment...They had a good run while they were at Boca chica ..now they suck. The building was much bigger at boca chica now its half the size! 2 stars because the chicken strips are kick ass , thats its only saving grace for me.

The website info says 8.19 per person for lunch between 11am and 4pm but my family was charged 11.99. The manager stated that they are a separate franchise and they are able to charge 11.99 starting at 11am on Saturdays. Not cool. Franchises only use ome website. The information on google comes from golden corals website. They could have at least kept the food trays full. Not coming back to this one. I guess since its a tourist attraction area, they are capitalizing on that alone. Expect NOT to pay what your google map info says even though its their info.

Nice food, just ok people.., but waitress took long time to even come to the table for the first time, we had to refill our drinks ourselves, even when the place wasnt too busy since it was early in the morning, we tried to get the separated room for our group but the cashier said they didnt have one, even when I was looking at it.. they joined a few tables together wich it was kind off uncomfortable for us and other people trying to squeeze between tables.. The food was great though and our overall experience was ok, but It could have been much better.

Este lugar es ideal para ir con niños de mediana edad ya que cuenta con una gama enorme de postres y nieves algodones de azúcar que suele encantarles. Este lugar es Buffet así es que encuentras desde ensaladas hasta Cortes de carne. Es un buen lugar.

Well not to good food was salty and over cooked food was not equally hot....sever was not attending are table as he should I guess he looking for the bigger partys ...and cooks looked lazy and stressed out like if they didnt want to be working on this day... honestly this is the last time I will be here... and also whats up with the can sodas ??? I guess management kinda forgot to restock the fountains on drinks....

I really like the food there but one thing I always see wrong is that the waitresses are always sweeping the carpet where people are eating,I know that is what they are ordered to do,but I think that is very unsanitary due to the fact dirt goes up in the air and into peoples food.....maybe they should find another way of cleaning floors clean.

Breakfast on the weekends is the best time to go, right after they open. Fresh, delicious and good variety. Any other time its a crap shoot on the food quality. Always busy.... which is a good sign. Waitstaff is very attentive and courteous. Would be 5 stars if bathroom cleanliness was maintained better.

Golden Corral is one of my favorite buffets, but this place gets insanely crowded and you cant eat comfortably. The staff is ok, and the food is decent, I just hate the long wait, and the amount of people that come in and out. I love buffets, but I wont be coming to this one often. 3 stars mang!

To be honest, the Golden Coral that was on Boca Chica was better in terms of customer service. This place is also smaller, so on the weekends or holidays like mothers day, this place is a disaster. The food is still the same, so not loss of quality there. Overall its a mediocre resteraunt.

Their customer service has changed tremendously if you ever need a function for a baby shower or birthday make sure in contact Gabby one manager of Golden Corral she was excellent and customer service overall we had a wonderful time there on a recent baby shower excellent services

My mother and I went 2/2/14. It was very busy but things went smoothly. Smiles, greetings, and always on top of needed refills, the staff is what makes this place! The food was freshly made, very organized in its place and clean. I recommend it

Ate to my hearts content here, They straight up cut the steak and serve it infront of you on a huge grill the guy even asks you how you want it done and you can see him make its, I think i hat 3 plates full of steak and rice

Cooks and chefs need to go back to school. Bacon always burnt aside from deep frying the bacon, eggs over cooked, hash browns crisp on the outside raw inside, lunch is par and so is dinner
