I dont know if their computers just were not accepting food stamps at the time that I went in or if they are phasing that out and will not be accepting them at all of the future. However when I went to check out there was a sign on the only register at the time stating that they could only take cash credit cards and debit cards no EBT. The cashier was too busy chatting with her customer answer any questions I might have asjed and I was in too big of a hurry to wait because I needed to get to work. 4/13/15 Went in to buy pads on my way to work, cashier was too busy chatting with another employee to ring me up and "permit" me to pay. Had to leave without them. Im starting to see a pattern here...

My least favorite grocery store in Norman, OK. Had a terrible experience with an older checker today, complaining that I picked here line then proceeding to gripe about her situation at work....awkward and poor customer service. The place has always smelled weird to me and they are not as well stocked with products as the other grocery stores in town. I think Im done shopping at this location even though it is sometimes more convenient me.

Dont come here if youre in a hurry. Delays at checkout are inevitable. The employees there might all be part-owners, but none of them seem to care much about customers. Theyll abandon checkout lines that customers are waiting in. Theyll only keep one line open with ten people in waiting in it. Theyll stare glassy-eyed at you instead of processing your transaction. And the prices arent particularly good.

Maybe not the cleanest place in town, but they have friendly (if oddball) employees and their prices on medicine is MUCH cheaper than anywhere else in town. Aldi definitely has cheaper food, but homeland is open later and is the place to go if youre sick but dont want to break the bank for cold/flu medicine. They also have a great dollar isle.

An older store, friendly service, great prices on most things. Usually great for a quick in and out grocery shopping stop. I love that they employ those with special needs and its employee owned. Im not sure why the "barber shop" is mentioned here. Thats located two stores down and has nothing to do with Homeland grocers.

I go by regularly for the basics. Nice people, good service. The building is old so it needs a makeover. Sometimes they lock their doors before posted closing times so keep that in mind if you are out late.

Decent Homeland, if it is in your neighborhood it is fine. It is just a little dingier than The Homeland up on Robinson and the Crest. But, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Great store. Always were serviced. Prices can be higher than other places. But they offer discounts, which is the only reason I still shop here despite their higher prices.

Good food, clean place and friendly staff but the employees seem a bit lacking when it comes to knowing what the store does or does not have

Definitely past its prime in terms of how the store looks but the selection of items is good and prices are reasonable.

Old store badly needs a refresh and some imagination. Their produce is deplorable. Inventory is tired.
