Met the oddest, most off putting person. Asked a simple question about the food because i have severe health issues. Thats is the sole reason i went to a gluten free bakery. She just stood there dead eye and looked at me like she confused why i was in the store. Then mumbled something and i asked her to repeat. Not helpful or friendly. Really disappointed! I just walked out, Ill spend my money where people are welcoming and at least smile. Especially if Im going to spend $10 on bread.

So Izak & I went into Blackbird Bakary at the suggestion of a friend to work on a gluten free pizza crust for BackDraft Pizzeria. A handful of desserts ( that we scarfed down they were so yummy , I couldnt even tell they were gluten free ) and 2 months later we now have gluten free pizza pie crust from Blackbird. We are excited to partner with them in this new venture with BackDraft Pizzeria. Karen is such a rock star and her staff is so polite , warm and welcoming.

Someone recommend this bakery on FB and since my son has a wheat allergy we are changing our diets, which is so hard finding things that taste good. I went by and was relieved they had a loaf of bread since thats the hardest part of a gluten free diet. OMGOSH this place is AMAZING!! Gluten free doughnuts....really???? They were so good. 9 year old approved!!!

Drove all the way from Bastrop to get my wife some high-end gluten-free baked goods for her birthday, as we dont have anything like that near us. Just to find a tiny sign on their door saying they are closing at one throughout August. A little update on your website wouldve been nice, instead of me wasting two hours of my day.

I seriously did not even realize this was a gluten-free bakery until after I ate all of my treats then noticed a gluten-free sticker in the box. The quiche and berry tart were absolutely delicious. I also had some donut holes which I didnt really enjoy as they were a bit dense and tasted like dough.

This is a slice of heaven and there are GF and dairy free options, like there chocolate cupcakes or donut holes... Delicious!! This place is a must try And you wont even know its GF!
