It all began with the planning process. Lindsey, the event manager at the Allen location is awesome. After years of telling myself I wanted to plan a surprise party for my husband I finally decided to do it. Deciding where to have it was the easy part; the question was could I afford it. I contacted Lindsey and once I explained what I wanted to do she took it from there. I thought my budget would only allow me to consider certain types of food and entertainment for my guest. Lindsey assured me that she would help me host an event I would be proud of, enjoy and stay within budget, she did just that. After asking the pertinent questions, how many, date, times for consideration, budget etc. she went to work. Lindsey presented just enough options and some included culinary options I hadn’t thought would be in the budget. I arrived a tad bit early because I wanted to be available to greet my guest but did not expect everything to be set up or to be taken care of so quickly, I fully expected to wait. I was greeted with such energy and enthusiasm, Holly almost seemed too nice and was full of energy, I felt truly welcomed. Jimmy, who was very personable says he loves working at TopGolf and it showed in every interaction. Theann was on top of it all and super nice. Brandon was super funny, worked hard and made everyone feel at ease. All of my guest kept mentioning how much fun they were having and how smoothly everything was going. I heard several people comment on how they had never thought of TopGolf but definitely feel it is a place to consider now. I had Queso at each bay for a starter followed by chicken and beef fajitas, cilantro rice and black beans. All of my guest were impressed. They could not stop talking about how good the food was, how tender the chicken was and how the beef was not that chewy stuff some people serve. They loved the staff and kept asking questions about the planning process. The most wonderful thing about the team associates Saturday night, Holly, Jimmy, Theann and Brandon is that they served as the ultimate stress relievers. I am used to having to worry about details, making certain my guest are taken care of etc. They took such good care of everyone they left me nothing to worry about. They even took care of me, if I looked like I was looking for something or someone was there to see if they could assist. Thank you Lindsey for making the planning seamless and stress free while presenting options that where both enjoyable, memorable and in the budget. Thank you so much event team for giving my husband a party he will not forget, my friends an experience they will not forget and me the freedom to enjoy it all.

You can really tell the difference now from when they first opened. Games are working better, service has gotten quicker, and the overall experience has made a better impression. My boyfriend and I went in june, and were not thrilled. Went back for the first time since then, yesterday, and we were extremely happy. We had a blast! The front desk was very nice and Jared was eager to help us in getting new cards. Wait was only thirty minutes, which was not bad. Were placed on the lower level, and we were able to take a look at the lounge for members. Wow! We were greeted in a timely manner by our waitress who even put our cards in the machine and explained the different games to us. After getting our drink orders, she returned quickly with them and even told us a couple of her favorite items on the menu. Wait on the food was a little longer than hoped, but they were clearly busy. Drinks were always refilled, and although she had let us know it was only her and one other girl on the level with no bartender, you would never even be able to tell. She would stop by and make us feel important and as if she really cared about our experience; eye contact, smile, and all, as we watched her do with every table around us. She even came to our bay and taught my boyfriend (with a wonderful sense of sarcastic humor) how to hit a golfball. The other girl on the level was genuinely interested in our experience as well, as she would come by to check on us, too. Our friends came to join later and were treated with the same friendly respect. When it was time to leave, she already had the bills split up with no confusion and had the checks back in no time. Best service Ive had anywhere in a long time. Props to TopGolf Allen for being able to say they have employees like Dana and Becca! Lovely personalities, gorgeous girls, and amazing at what they do! Will be returning, bringing more friends and coworkers, and maybe even making this a weekly deal.

I went for my birthday saturday evening. i showed up early expecting there to be a super long wait, but to my surprise there was no wait! even though my party wasnt showing up until 6PM, i decided to go kill my hour "wait" at the bar on the second floor. they had some good specials going for march madness. my fiance and i chose to sit in one of the 2 person booths along the wall and i guess we showed up during a shift change because after sitting there for almost 10 minutes i had to go to the bar and order a round and specifically ask for a waitress to come take care of us. besides that, the bar experience was great. i have to say that i was impressed with the service we received the entire night from start to finish. the girl at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, she even "gave" me a reservation to hold 2 bays for my party. i think it had to do with the fact that i was coming up to her every 15 minutes asking what the wait time is, but either way she handled it like a pro. we got two bays on the bottom floor all the way at the end. to some people this might be a negative, but i enjoyed it because it made it more private for me and my party. we were instantly greeted by our waitress who was very nice and catered to our every need. once everyone showed up, we ordered tons of food and beer and started crushing golf balls, or at least trying to. the food itself was decent, we ordered just about every appetizer on the menu. my favorite was the quesadillas, nachos and hot wings. all the food came out hot and fresh. the only negative was the price. even though top golf is inherently expensive ($40/hr on the weekends just to use the bay) and you can split the cost up however you want, there is still a bit of sticker shock when you get the final bill. all in all, its a fun place to meet friends and family and have a fun time, whether you enjoy golf or not.

We originally went to the Colony location but there was an hour and 45 min wait. They told us the Allen location only had a 10 minute wait so we drove to Allen Top Golf where of course there was a 45 min wait. On a Sunday afternoon at 3:30. We decided to sit in the bar and get a bite to eat while we waited. We waited about 15-20 minutes for someone to even come to our table, but honestly it looked like all the tables were waiting that long. There were several employees around, but only a few seemed to be waiting tables. It wasnt any surprise that our food took forever to come too. I got chicken and waffles and it probably wouldnt have been cold had they brought silverware with the food. I eventually had to go find my own because a waiter never came back, even though my husband had also ordered another drink. Once our bay became available we thought we might have better service since it seemed to be slowing down. But after i asked for a water refill and 10 minutes later the same guy returned and asked if i was drinking water and would i like a refill, it was apparent we were wrong. The only saving grace for this place was the golfing was fun and my kids really enjoyed it. I would come back only for the golfing. I wouldnt spend another penny on their food service.
