I left town for the last eight months. When I left, I thought of Sidestreet as a fun, relaxed environment to chill out at the end of the barhop. Went to wind down after a long night, just before 1am. The moment we walked in, and every five minutes thereafter, the staff proceeded to remind us that they can close up whenever they want and that we should consider heading for the door. ..at 1:00am. I absolutely respect their ability to close up early, but they could have at least been somewhat decent about it. The level of disdain for their patrons while constantly pushing us to the door was just sad... I wont be going back.

UPDATED:2 years ago I was here and gave the place a fairly bad review. I have returned on a few occasions since - on Sundays to watch the NFL, like in the past - and the overall service and quality is so much better. We had poor service, now the service is very good. They have been able and polite in getting any of the other games we would like to watch (we are not NFC North fans) and have been very accommodating. Food has been good and the beer specials are pretty good.I am glad to see the improvement in service and enjoy coming here now.

This place makes THE BEST reuben in Fargo. Let me put into perspective how awesome their reuben is; the crowd here is a bit odd - lots of bearded "look at me" hipster types, also sometimes a sketch fest (one guy sobbing at his table while two others tip over in their chairs drunk on a sunday at 3), the connected hotel was recently robbed ending in a shootout with police.....but none of these things can keep me from returning to buy their awesome reuben. Good prices too!

Some of the food was OK -- the pizza, for example. The nachos were the worst I have ever had. I may get other stuff there in the future but never nachos again. It took 30 minutes or more for them to get to our table; I have a feeling they were sitting on the shelf for most of that time. Cold with congealed cheese. The ones I make at home are much better.

Its VERY LOUD. I cant hear myself think and I cant hear the person who is talking two feet in front of me. Id like to enjoy my drink and talk to my friend but I have a headache now so Im waiting outside for a while. Please just turn the live music down a bit! Could stay here for hours if it wasnt for this headache!

Been going to sidestreet since the old location. One of my favorite places to go get food with friends, and a weekend lunch. Always have something on tap I like. I recommend anything with pulled pork ie: pulled pork sandwich, anything with Fargo in the name Fargo dog, Fargo pizza (attached picture), Fargo burger.

The Side Street is in a new location that is much better than the old location. The interior is spacious and has a great ambiance. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and service is good. If your in downtown Fargo looking for a place to grab drinks and food give this place a shot.

Bizarre place trying to be everything to everyone. We went because of the music - Deb Jenkins, who was fantastic despite competing with large TV screens and ice hockey coverage. She deserved a better location. Staff here were fabulous.

Awesome beer list. Incredible food. Would love to see something from Left Hand Brewing, like their Nitrous Milk Stout. Or some more Colordo classics (Coors is not a Colorado classic, no one like myself who has lived there likes it.)

Visited on a sunny, hot midweek day. Specials were burgers and Jameson. Burger cooked to my liking. Fries are fantastic. Beverage cooling and refreshing. Pool, darts, music, and loads of seating. Ode to Vikings!
