Only ate here because it was right next to the motel I stayed in. The service was HORRIBLE. Hostess was unbelievably rude, food was flavorless, and the bathrooms were so gross I felt like I needed to bathe in Purell afterwards. I expected far better after reading the reviews here, but after going Im seriously baffled at how this place has any good reviews. Nashville is close enough with literally 100s of better options - dont bother wasting your money here.

First two staff members treated me like a space alien. No hello didnt ask how many. Had to tell the guy I was alone. Server brought out my food quickly which was nice but it was a big greasy mess with canned re fried beans and plain Jane ass rice and fake guac. Normally I dont mind forking over 16 bucks for a so so meal at a mediocre Mexican joint but this place honestly sucks and should be avoided .

The good thing about it is they serve lunch every day. Prices are not very expensive. They have a very hot and spicy sauce. They give you a good portion for lunch fajitas. During mi visit I saw a mix of Black, Whites and Latinos which is good for me. Everyone has to be welcomed to any place. My only complaint is that music was playing a little bit loud.

The food is very good. Comes out quickly. The place can get packed. But, the service is lacking tremendously. Forget about drink refills unless you order alcohol. You rarely get checked up on. Takes forever to get your check. I sat there while staff just stood by doing nothing. And, then our server went on break and handed us off to someone else.

The Tacos De Carne Asada is top notch, 2ND to nobody!The fried ice-cream is one of the very best deserts weve ever eaten.The place was busy but the waitress was right there on time with everything.I have to give credit where credit is due, this is one of the best all around Mexican restaurants around.

The service was horrible bugs crawling around on the floor and flies flying everywhere.Did not get a refills on our drinks or chips and salsa. The food was salty and burnt plus the waitress did not come back to check to see if anything was correct and for that I will never go back

I am being 100% honest with you guys. This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever gone to. The food was great, service was great, little wait time (5min max), and it just seems authentic. One bad thing though..... the restrooms are not clean otherwise great place.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! They are really popular now, and thus they have been stretched a bit, so go at a low traffic time. The crowd can be a bit too rough to go on a busy night. But the food is great, and the service has only been good when I go.

Went here with a friend. Hostess was unbelievably rude. Good was decent and waiter was polite. Biggest problem the restaurants thug security guard was eavesdropping on our table like he had a problem with us. Never going back here thats for sure.

Bland, mediocre, these are words that come to mind. As a cook myself of 6 years, I believe that they cook all of their food in the steamer. Everything is mushy and wet, including the shells of the tostadas.

Thus place is so good! The weekly lunch special are $5.50 which is insane plus they have a wonderful happy hour everyday 2pm to 8pm. Try the El Rey burritto.
