We live in Clarksville and today decided on cracker barrel for breakfast, unfortunately our cracker barrlel(s) were too busy this morning. So we made the trip down to white house cracker barrel, was hardly busy got sited right away, 2 kids and 4 adults. However we sit there 20 minutes waiting on a waiter, finely got our order taken drinks and food right then. All breakfast, waited another 15 - 20 for drinks. Food took forever to come out and when it finely did my sister-in-law, me and one of the kids food was VERY undercooked!! Sent it back took them forever to it back out to us and once again my food and sister-in-laws food was undercooked again!!! Sent it back again, waited another 20 minutes for our food, just about to leave when the waiter beings it back. My steak was way over cooked and the eggs were still uncooked, told our waiter again about, she had a problem with it, I couldnt eat the crap so we left. My husband and brother paid while my sister-in-law and I with the kids looked around the store, the stuff might as well have crawled up our asses watching us like we were going to steal something and one the stuff ladies told my 4 year old son not to touch anything! I was carrying him!!!! That was our first trip and LAST to that cracker barrel!!!! The stuff are ass holes and obviously they do not know how to cook either! It would have been better to have just ate at McDonalds!!!

Last night I called in an order almost 30 minutes before I was going to arrive at CrackerBarrel. When I called it in, the server on the phone told me my meal would be ready for pick up in about 20-25 minutes. When I arrived in the store to get my food, I was told no one even entered in my order. A server took my order for a second time and put it in the system. After that, I waited an hour and 10 minutes in the store to receive my order. (Mind you -- it was only a platter and biscuits that I asked for.) At the time, the store was pretty busy so I understand why it would take longer than normal. However, waiting over an hour in store for a simple order was unacceptable. I was not confronted with the situation of my order from anyone. I am disappointed in the amount of time it to be made and how long I had to wait AFTER I was told someone did not even enter in my order in the first place. Im not sure when I will come back, honestly. Not very impressed anymore.

Carrie was our waitress and our baby started to cry as soon as she served us our meals. I took our son to the restroom to change his diaper and to calm him down so he did not disrupt other diners. After coming back to my untouched food, he started to cry again (he is 10 months old) so I guess spanking him is probably not going to work lol- she came right up to our table slapped our bill down as if she was saying get out and leave. Not offering us to go containers for a full plate of food, I sarcastically asked for a to go drink. I called the store after we left and spoke to the General Manager Mark- he said he noticed us and really didnt care and acted as if this was acceptable. We travel from IN to TN quite often! We will never stop at this Cracker Barrel again. We would never let our baby disturb others but to not even get to eat our lunch and be chased out of an establishment is unnacceptable.

We were at The 521 Location at White House Tn, not only did our breakfast get mixed up and have hair in my husbands bacon (curly and wrapped around the middle) which was laughed off by the waitress, but my husband, who has recently had brain sugery let his glasses fall out of his pocket,in the bathroom, when we returned home to Indiana we called and was assured they would go out in the next days mail. this was the !5th of June, when we called today, June 24th they still hadnt been mailed, if we had know this, we could have driven back and gotten them, I know it is our responsibility, not theirs, but they could have just said, we are not going to do this. My husband is wearing 10 year old glasses, on top of the problems he is already having, we eat at Cracker Barrell all the time this is not what we expect from their company.

Our second time eating at the Cracker Barrel White House while traveling. The first time wasnt bad. This most recent time was hideous. My wifes roast beef dinner was about 1/2 pure fat. What resturant searves that sort of cut to customers? Hardly fit for dog food. My ruben sandwich was swimming in butter and was so greasy it was barely editable. We got carry out. The dishes were served in containers barely suitable. The soup leaked. We were not provided plastic-ware for our takeout. Very poor service and horrible food. Two stars, not one, because the first time we ate here it wasnt bad. The second time was hideous.

The service was great tonight, which it has been pretty bad lately...the past few times we have gone. Although, upon us being seated, I noticed our table had been cleaned but the floor underneath and around was filthy...food, napkins, straw wrappers, you name it. And then my sons silverware was not clean. I was surprised bc it wasnt super busy when we went. They do have a "hiring now" sign posted at the entrance so Im guessing they just need some help! At least I hope thats what it is! Otherwise, servers and managers were all very nice. And food was good too!

My husbands burger wasnt cooked right. It had some bright pink in it and he didnt say anything even though he ordered his Well done. I enjoyed my mushroom swiss burger. Mine had no pink even though I ordered mine Medium Well. Not sure whether they got the burgers backwards when they added the cheese and toppings or what happened. I wish he had alerted the manager but he didnt tell me until we were leaving and insisted that he didnt think they wouldnt do anything about it anyways. Now hes convinced that hes going to get good poisoning and we wont be going back.

I ordered rib eye steak medium rare, received well done, server was nice and tried to take care of things then later blew up complaining about their kitchen staff. She took my well done steak to show the kitchen staff but all she got was excuses and arrogant attitude by the kitchen staff. Kitchen is like a blood of the restaurant. Servers are like muscle. If they dont get along you will have unhappy customers.

Personally, this Cracker Barrel is virtually indistinguishable from other stores that we have visited. My husband and I eat there almost every Sunday morning. The staff is always friendly, we rarely have a long wait, and when/if something is wrong, they are quick to fix it. Now, I would have given them 5 stars, but I have not found this to be the case when we eat there for dinner.

cracker barrel is consistent, if youve been to one then you already know they have great food, they will be crowded and theres a lot of stuff to by as you squeeze between people and shelves to get into the restaurant. the white house store got our large party seated on mothers day fairly quickly and served us without any problem. overall we had great service as always
