EL MEXICO RESTAURANT IN SHELBYVILLE, TN. IS THE BEST!!" MEXICAN FOOD ANY AND EVERY WHERE AROUND. EVEN IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE. THE PEOPLE THAT RUNS AND OWNS THE RESTAURANT ARE ALWAYS KIND, CARING AND THE MOST PLEASANT PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER MEET IN YOUR LIFETIME. AS WELL AS THEY PUT ALL THEIR LOVE. AND CARING IN EACH PLATE OF FOOD THEY FIX AND SERVE TOO YOU.GOD BLESS THEM EVERYONE. THEY ARE THE BEST OF ALL.

Never mind, first I give 5 stars but last time I was there the big fat guy with glasses at the cashier waiting area was rude to me and my friend they keep us waiting about 25 minutes just standing on the waiting area and almost noone was there eating, berry disappointing customerservice, not coming back going to chilis from now on.

I travel around the country eating in alot of authentic mexican cuisines, Hands down, their Fagitas are one of the best me and my wife have enjoyed. The waiters are top notch, super clean dining room and super size orders with very reasonable prices. This is 5 stars 4 sure....

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food is always good and hot. They get you seated quickly and the servers are friendly. Check for the daily specials when you first come in. The menu is pretty extensive so there should be something for everyone!

Pretty good food. Pretty good prices. Many peoples favorite Mexican place in town, but I dont really see why. Its like my third or fourth favorite. Nothing all that special about it. Very nice building inside and out though.

While its not my favorite Mexican restaurant in Shelbyville it is still pretty good. Their food is pretty tasty and I think their major drawback is staffing, it takes a few minutes to get anything included to be seated.
