I reviewed the menu in its entirity. My coment to the owner is this: The menu is way to big and complicated. Too many items on it. Loose the awhi Tuna- too expensive for you. your not making enough on it. Drop the burger down to $12 and cut the portion. Add a flank steak for $16 and loose the crab. Get rid of anything on the Brunch menu that is complicated. Raise all your prices a bit and make the menu much smaller. Stay away from Seafood- use only fresh ingrediants, and dont order too many many perishables and youll have quicker service and you will make more profit. You are not a seafood joint on Cape Cod. You need a few steaks buddy- Its TN. No one wants frozen Asaian Crab meat. Keep it simple look at your demo and make your menu simple you will thank me. I would have 1 salad with add ons and 10 dinner items 2 deserts 1 special on the weekends. @ killers staks and a awesome burger. Brunch I would reduce to 8 items period. Id get rid of all your fancy cocktails and beer that nobody has heard of too. Look at you food cost. I know what it is just by reading the menu and seeing the square footage. Just trying to help.

the decor and atmosphere are nice. the food and service are average. we went on a saturday night and there was no wait. we walked up to the host stand. there was a girl on the phone taking a to go order and another lady standing there (manager?). the lady told us the girl on the phone would seat us when she was done taking the order. she then just stood there and did nothing which i thought was odd. why didnt she just show us to our table. eventually another girl from the back came and sat us as the hostess was still on the phone. a few minutes later she came back and said "i guess ill be your server." it just seemed like noone wanted to work or take care of us. we ordered the chicken oscar and the seared tuna salad. both dishes were average. the sauce on the oscar wasnt very good but the chicken was grilled nicely. the tuna wasnt the quality im accustomed to. overall the food was average and the service was very unenthused.

My husband and i drove about an hour to visit this brunch. The overall experience was good, however since there was quite a crowd we opted to eat at the bar. The bar attendant ( Jenny an older lady with black hair), who didnt introduce her self was the rudest person i have encounterd at any restaurant. She refused to acknowledge us, she took the menus before allowing us to complete our order. And then paid absolutely no attention to us for the 45 mins we were there, while being overly attentive to all the (white) patrons around us. She never refilled our water or asked if we wanted anything else after delivering our food. Then we had to flag her down for our ticket to pay. Had it not been for her we would have loved the food and the atmosphere. IN CONCLUSION THE TIP WE LEFT HER WAS A NOTE TELLING HER TO TREAT ALL HER CUSTOMERS EQUALLY. JENNY THE DAYS OF PREJUDICE SHOULD BE OVER I PRAY FOR YOUR KIND.

As someone that works in the hospitality industry, I am very discerning when it comes to good food and good service. I am always looking for the best and am usually underwhelmed or disappointed. A few months ago, some good friends of ours introduced us to this unassuming restaurant in Brentwood. We never would have thought much of it until our first dining experience. The food here is absolutely excellent and amazingly affordable. The service is friendly and prompt. The drinks are well-crafted, reasonably priced and a great deal during happy hour. The next time you are looking for a place to grab a steak and a glass of wine, bring your sweetheart or your work colleagues here and you wont be disappointed and you might even have a few extra dollars left in your wallet.

Prices are silly high here, any comment to the contrary is simply ridiculous and very misleading, I was asked if I wanted a coke while I waited on my to go food and was charged over 2 dollars for it. She knew I thought she meant free otherwise I would not have ordered it. However before I left she was nice enough to pour my leftover in a small coffee cup. I STRONGLY advise against this place unless you like very average bar food with elitist pricing. HEARING ME? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This place was so bad it made me mad, ever had thar after a restaurant? Do NOT go here or you will feel the same , ripped off

Id say average price per person for food alone is $14-$15. Cheapest on menu is bacon burger for $8.95. Fries standard, burger tasteless, $2 add on salad ok, tea on the bland side. Kids chicken - too much breading, daughter barely touched them and she always eats her plate clean. So food and prices sank the ship for me. Decor and service was great but not enough to go back. One other thing is that when you walk in, youre immediately in the middle of the narrow bar and feel like everyones looking at you as you walk in. I will say Im picky and most would probably like this place.

We have enjoyed Southside Grill for many years, and the one thing that continues to stand out is the consistency and quality of the food, its always good. The menu offers a wide range for every taste whether in the mood for a filet mignon, a pasta dish, or something lighter such as the wonderful ahi tuna, or warm lump crab salad, there is a dish for everyone. The staff are as consitent as the food and always ready with a smile and "can do" attitude. Try the weekend brunch and definetly try happy hour, if its cooler sit on the patio and enjoy your food and watch the world go by.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Nashville. The staff is GREAT they really know how to treat customers. Every time we come in the know what we want and bring it to us before we have a chance to ask! The Food is AMAZING we always get the “Lobster and Gorgonzola potato chips” they are out of this world and their "smoked gouda and truffle oil burger" is HEAVEN. Im from northwest Kansas and have had some of the freshest and best hamburgers and I have to say Southside’s truffle oil burger knocks them all out of the park!!! You cannot go wrong with this place TRUST ME!!!!

Waited for a table for twenty minutes, then waited 45 minutes for our food (it wasnt busy), the food was way over priced for what it was and it didnt taste that great. Husband got the meatballs. Literally 4 meatballs on top of macaroni and cheese and it was $16. They forgot half the toppings for my chicken sandwich ($12) and they sprinkle dry oregano on top of the fries like theyre trying to fancy them up, just wound up tasting like a fried spice cabinet. Wont be dining here again.
