This is one of my very favorite places in Nashville. There is a young guy who works there - I believe he is a member of the family that owns the place - who is super helpful, patient, and good-humored when youre not exactly sure what youre looking for. The selection here is also great. I can always go in knowing that they will have the ingredients on my list, usually with a few options to choose from. I do wish they had a little bit more produce, but I can imagine that they have to scale their produce options based on demand. I dont get the sense that most people go there for the produce specifically. Finally, the very, very best part of this whole thing is that you can order a banh mi sandwich when you start shopping and it will be ready for you to go when youre ready to check out. Their banh mi is so good. The second my husband and I get in the car after a shopping trip we start ripping into our sandwiches immediately. They are the best. And really cheap - $3.50 I think. Important note if you choose to shop there - which you should! - they only take cash and check.

It was very quiet when I walked in. I shopped on my own (well, with my husband) for close to an hour. It came time to check out and I asked if they had something I couldnt find. The nice gentleman took me right to it, interrupting play with his (Im assuming his) adorable toddler. Even replaced one of the items I had selected for what I was really needing for what I told him I was trying to make. Had to leave to get cash, they kept my bags of groceries to the side for me. Came back to pay, and older gentleman was there. He told me I had picked out the wrong fish sauce for what I had mentioned I was cooking. But he didnt know how to edit my ticket. He called his ?grandson? who had helped me before. He came back from on his way heading home just to edit our purchase on the computer! Talked to the older man while we waited. Good store. Wonderful customer service. AMAZING PEOPLE!

I just moved here from Minneapolis and was looking for a good Asian market. Ive gone through probably over a dozen. This place has most of the items I was looking for. Have you tried to look for Flower Chive? Or Phu Quoc Fish Sauce? Or pickled carrots and papaya? Yep. They have it. They get 4 stars only because their fresh produce is lacking a bit. I tried their Original Banh Mi: its good. Not excellent, but good. Ill come back to try a few more things. They are top of the list for Asian Markets though. Note: Its CASH or CHECK only!

I went this place for some Japanese stuff. Thats the only reason I give 4 stars! Veges look fresh and reasonable price. You got yo try their sandwich though. We tried vege one. Man, cant go back to Subway no more! Prepare for spicy bites. If you dont like spicy, let them know otherwise. And they take CASH AND CHECK ONLY! ATM is cross street!!

The Bahn Mi (double meat) will leave you speechless. Its amazing. Its spicy like 5/5 spicy with jalepenos, but still outstanding. The grocer part of the store is equally quality and has huge depth. If you cant find you probably dont want it. The bahn mi will haunt my dreams . oh and its like $5.

Finally! A place that has south east Asain food and grocery. Very nice family running it. The produce is very clean and they have a nice variety of all the hard to get things. I tried the pre made duck in the deli and it was AWESOME, cooked and seasoned perfectly....and Im a Asian food snob :)

They have the best price on Tofu weve found around Nashville. Pay attention to expiration dates though; all of their Thai vegetarian ramen is over 9 years old! Also found some bugs in the small jasmine rice bags. They dont take debit or credit card, so come with cash. But their tofu is great!

Banh Mi is cheap and delicious! I tried every type except the vegetarian and each was delicious. Just beware of the giant jalapeño slices hiding inside them! Also, everything is CASH ONLY. No credit or debit. Order at the register/front counter.
