Really tho? Just not very good BBQ,, I mean they have all the stuff you want: pork sandwiches, brisket, roasted chicken, and all the sides. Its just really not very good. Especially compared to all the other bbq available within 2 miles from the 8th ave location. the white beans and green beans tasted like raw celery? the brisket wasnt cleaned properly and was dry and tasted bland. The pork was dry and flavorless which would have been fine but I wasnt offered any sauce to coat it in and cover up that fact. Creole cole slaw was weak. Service: young lady taking order was kind the young man preparing order came off a bit aggressive and made dismissive comments to the woman who rang me up. Just overall didnt seem like they had their heart in the food they were serving. BBQ is an art of love and experience. From what Ive had here I dont believe they have either. 1/5

Firstly, I really try to not write negative reviews. Although, our experience at B&C on July 4th, was one of the worst BBQ experiences weve ever had. I have had better southern BBQ in Scotland, and thats not a joke. The staff was all friendly, but the food was just terrible! The beef brisket was stringy and so fatty, that it was closer to pot roast than brisket. The mac & cheese was of the Kraft instant box quality. Lastly, I made the mistake of getting the BLT pasta salad, which has made me sick, and I knew it after two bites of spoiled "fishy" tasting pasta salad. Everything was out, and simply kept in a warming tray. Nothing of quality was received. I gave two stars based on a friendly staff and good BBQ sauces. Sorry B&C, but we will not be back.

Disappointing. I visit the Melrose location on a regular basis for lunch. Have not been there since November 2016. Today 1.24.17 I Ordered my usual sandwich drink and one side. To my surprise the cashier charged me $2 dollars more for getting a bottled soda instead of a fountain drink. NUTS!!! I suppose you can charge more for getting a bottle drink rather than a fountain drink but to essentially charge me for (2) drinks was NUTS!! Oh and I did mention I get the bottle drink because the cups have Coffee lids. REALLY?

My husband and I have been going to B&C for years now and we always enjoy the food. The pulled pork and brisket are always hits, but a friend got smoked salmon last time we were here and they loved it. The grits are always amazing and the flavors change throughout the week. Most of the other sides are really tasty, but last time I went there were too many stalky pieces in the collard greens. Other than that one instance, its always been a great place to get a good plate of barbecue!

Favorite barbecue in Nashville so far! They do it all: chicken, ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, turkey, and even the occasional salmon, which I love to take home for weekend brunches. The sides are amazing and they pride themselves on grits, with flavors that rotate through the week. Also the best fried pickles in the universe (they dont do the cornmeal thing, its more like a light tempura). Easily one of my favorites in the city.

Was just passing through Nashville on a long drive and wanted some quick BBQ. This was the place to get it right off I-65. Restaurant is like a fast casual place like Chipotle and you get your food in just a few minutes. I had a pulled pork sandwich with fried pickles and fries. All was extremely good and the sweet heat sauce here is DELICIOUS.

I have been coming here for yrs and it was great. However the last 3 or 4 times I have been here it hasnt been that good. The sides are getting pretty bad. Not sure if I will be going back anymore. Went back several times this month and has been very good! Great place to eat again!!!

Delicious bbq and lots of sauce choices. Squash casserole is really yummy. Fried okra crisp and tasty. Greens are good so is Mac n cheese. Change grits flavors daily, loved the Buffalo sauce grits. Friendly service picnic style seating.

We were very excited to try this place from the amazing smell, but the food was just OK. All the bbq sauces tasted ketchupy instead of being distinct. The garlic and cheese grits were good though.
