My family and I frequent this place several times a week. We love the illy coffee and the pastries, which are the best in town. The manager and staff are super friendly and know their customers. There are a few flaws, the most glaring being that they often have only one person working during the peak a.m. rush. The wait can be long, which is not acceptable when I have to be at work. Also, the prices are too high for certain items, and I often find myself not ordering what i really want. They have had problems in the past with malfunctioning equipment and common items being out of stock. The best deal is the donuts. They are the best youll ever have.

Its a nice little spot. Gave me hipster vibes though, and I dont really mean that in a good way, especially the deconstructed bagel. The bagel itself was a bit stale and though I thought using pickled onions in a Nova lox bagel was a creative twist, it was really overpowering. Still I give them an extra star because they had delicious coffee, gender neutral restrooms, a Rumi quote, and because the workers were incredibly diligent. Whenever they had a second away from customers, they were cleaning, restocking, wiping windows, etc. Props!

I love this coffee shop, great coffee and lattes. My issue is that they are always understaffed. It shouldnt take 20+ minutes to grab my drink and go. And the last couple times theres been only 1 or 2 people on duty. Also, on weekends the line PILES up. Obviously there are customers that want to come, so dont ruin their experience by understaffing and making them wait forever in line and to get their order. I know you guys have the potential!

Good coffee and tea. They dont have a full kitchen so food not as good as main cafe eclectic location. Furniture and chairs somewhat too well worn for my taste but others could find cozy. Find that sometimes feels smoky from food as if ventilation is not adequate. Good for grab and go instead of eating in.

Much like the Cafe Eclectic near midtown, the Mud Island location offered excellent eats and great service. The only gripe I would have is available seating as the location is significantly smaller than the other location.

Lovely back porch area and great staff. I just wish there were more kinds of coffee beans. Great place to work or make new friends. Their carrot cake with cream cheese was delicious.

Best espresso mocha-latte i ever had!.. Very foamy and very very smooth coffee. I like the ambiance and the location is excellent. The staff is friendly. Yes, I will visit again!

Great little spot. Bacon & cheddar scone is awesome. Bread is great. Cupcakes are best in Memphis. Service can be slow at peak times.
