When we arrived, we were quickly seated. It was a full house but our orders were taken quickly and got our drinks and coffee. I ordered a salmon bagel because I had a similar appetizer at Toad Hollow which was phenomenal so I had similar expectations. My friend ordered a breakfast croissant. We got our food after about half an hour. The server apologized for the wait. After two bites, I decided my bagel was gross. The bagel wasnt toasted, the salmon was raw ( as advertised) and unseasoned and it just didnt taste good. The server came back when my friend had finished eating which is when I was finally able to tell her that I didnt like it. She asked if I wanted something else but since we had to leave, I declined. She replied in a "that sucks" kind of way and left the check on the table and left with the plates. We were a bit dumbfounded since I hadnt eaten the dish and at other places they would normally remove the charge. I wasnt going to argue for her to remove it so I decided to order something in its place. We waited more than five minutes when I finally got up to look for her. She gave me a menu and I ordered an omelet for the same price (11.99). I asked to have it to go since we were already late. Later when I opened the box, I discovered that my apparently fat omelet that came with hash browns and a biscuit was stuffed with more hash browns and little bacon, sausage, etc. The service was OK except for the wait up to the point that I disliked the food and they did little to remedy the problem. I wont go back.

First time I came here was absolutely terrible but it seemed like only my order out if the three of us was messed up. Despite the long wait that time, we still enjoyed it. This time around, the place had easily twice as many people and our service and food was phenomenal. I had the chicken omelet and it was amazing. Woke up feeling very ill and needed some rich food and this did the job. In the end, we paid as much for breakfast as you would at any other restaurant but left feeling significantly more satisfied.

This is my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. For one thing the coffee is amazing and I wont drink any other brand, it is that good. I buy a bag at least once a week, Ive even mailed bags of coffee to relatives out of state and they rave about it. My favorite breakfast is a choice of two items. 1. The Blue Crab Omelet which is amazing and 2. New Orleans French Toast. Both excellent choices. As for lunch I always get the Wildberry Pecan Salad, delicious.

The food was good. The servers were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was welcoming. We expected the place to be crowded when we got there, but I guess we woke up early enough on Sunday that we beat the crowds. We were seated quickly. Next time we stay in Covington, we will probably eat there again and maybe take advantage of the all-you-can-drink make-your-own-bloody-mary bar.

I love coming here! It is a relaxing atmosphere where if your party gets a little loud, its okay. The food is always delicious and fresh! The coffee is amazing and they offer desserts and pastries. I have not had the desserts or pastries, but I imagine if they are anything like the breakfast/lunch items they will be delicious. Service has always been excellent!

the food is amazing i love abita roasting!! but my waitress, her name was emily, made the experience a little less enjoyable. i had to ask her for her name because she didnt introduce herself. she also looked very non professional, as if she just rolled out of bed. she didnt ask us how our food was or interact with us at all. i love abita roasting company.

This is definitely one of my favorite places for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Their food is always good and the coffee is even better. It is in walking distance from anything in downtown covington. Breakfast is nice and filling with big portions. Lunch has a nice mix of burgers, salads and wraps. Perfect for a quick meal.

We live in Abita springs and prefer this location over the one in Abita! Service is wonderful, food is better, and they open 30 minutes earlier. Can accommodate larger groups and has more table seating than the other location as well. Love having breakfast here!

The food is top notch. I strongly recommend the huevos rancheros. The coffee is wonderful, the service friendly and the place is always clean. We cannot give a high enough rating to Abita Roasting.
