One or ALL of these sets of three words are sure to escape your lips, after you eat at Cafe 7/24: "Some more, please!" OR "Need a nap!" OR "Best burger ever!" I ate off of a prix fixe menu tonight and had to get a to-go container because I was stuffed halfway through the meal. You get three courses. While there were several choices for each course, heres what I ordered: Course #1: Salad with Italian dressing Course #2: A burger on Texas toast and two sides (French fries and cole slaw) Course #3: Strawberry cheesecake (half yellow cake/half cheesecake with a vanilla Oreo on top) My husband got the catfish and sides of beans and fries. He said he had a "happy plate," which means it was all gone at the end of the meal. He very rarely eats everything on his plate. While everything was great, the burger was a showstopper! At one point, I think I heard myself humming as I ate it or was I inadvertently saying "nom, nom, nom" as I chewed? I initially thought the name of the cafe was backwards for 24/7, but then learned 7/24 was the birthdate of owners Charisse and Shan Goodens late mother. Its a family affair because their dad and brother make the food. That burger though. Its a party in your mouth. It tastes homemade, but too delicious to be homemade. I cant give this burger justice with words. You just have to try it! This is one of those restaurants worthy of support. Oh, when I get enough room in my tummy to try that delicious-looking cake, I will update this post!

Three stars because food isnt home cooked. Great ambience and potential to be a good restaurant. Must stock properly to have food on menu without having to substitute more than one ordered item.

The brunch was good and reasonably priced. The brunch menu is very limited, but the unlimited mimosa menu were very good for the price.
