The worst restaurant ever. A hour and half later we are still waiting on our sushi rolls. The waiters only response is we are still working on it. Then once we get the rolls there is a hair in it. Would never recommend it. Worst restaurant experience ever. If I could give negative stars I would. Also, dont try to complain or bring up your concern to the manger, her name is Kristin her response to our complain is, you could be more patient and complain to my boss if you have an issue. Forget an apology instead its our fault because how dare we after an hour and half expect two orders of avacado roll. I understand we had a larger group but there is something wrong when the bride and groom are still waiting on their appetizer when the other half of the table is getting their checks.

The meats are pretty consistently well prepared with tender texture and good seasoning. I love having a food option downtown where you can get fresh veggies, though I do like them cooked a bit more al dente. Bangkoks tend to come out a but mushy. The sauces tend to be rather thin (Like the curries) and on some dishes are practically nonexistent. Overall I enjoy the food as I can order simple food that is fresh.

Great service, comfortable atmosphere and clean. The soup was more of a side soup with bare minimum ingredients but the for the price (~$5) cant expect traditional-ingredients soup. The salad was amazing. Meat ordered medium rare was spot on, flavors rich and full, and portion size good for the price. They even roast their own Thai peppers that I recommend!

Where to start. Sampler appetizer looked to be straight out of a box. Coconut shrimp soup made with sweetened coconut milk, no tofu, no chili oil-ugh! Pad Prik supposed to be spicy- absolutely no heat. Pork dried out. No scallions as advertised. Sauce thin but tasty thank goodness. Overall disappointed for a $60 meal that hardly resembled Thai.

The food is good when its made right, but its hit or miss. The next time I get a curry with the consistency of water or an order of rice that consists only of a single clump of old dried out rice will be the last time I ever order from here. They really need to get it together and put out consistent food.

we come to memphis a couple times a year, and bangkok alley always ends up on the menu at one point during our trips. thai food that rivals some of the best options we have at home in LA. spicy and delicious!

It had a cute atmosphere with a faux alley to support its name. The ginger chicken was tasty and of a nice portion for the price. The waitresses mixed a couple of others so there is some work to do there.

Bangkoks definitely a fav. Best Thaiand eat Asian generally downtown. Usually get the massaman curry with fried tofu. Love the veggie spring rolls. Had the nigiri today, also great.

Im typically happy with my lunch but there is something about the total experience that doesnt pull me back in. So I only end up eating at Bangkok Alley every 4 months or so.

Very good place to grab a lunch. They have many good options on the lunch menu at reasonable prices. Food tastes good. Service is slow at times though.

Good service got a cold appetizer and Chris got us a fresh one no charge. Had the cashew chicken and it was delicious! Red curry not so much.
