Wang Gang failed miserably today. We ordered takeout and upon arriving home realized that they had omitted one entre. That in itself is not a big deal, since we are all human and sometimes mistakes happen. When I called the store the gentleman passed me to the manager, Jill, who recognized the order and told me they had the entre in the store. I suggested that since this was their error she have one of the delivery personnel simply bring it to my house, to which she originally said yes, and asked where I lived. When I told her where I lived, she said Wang Gang did not deliver to my city. Its important to note that we live exactly 5.6 miles from the store, just outside of the city limit that defines their delivery area. When I reminded her that this was their error and a major inconvenience to me as the customer, she reiterated that they dont deliver to my area and told me she would not make a special effort to solve this problem, it was up to me to return to the store. Several exchanges later it was clear she had no interest in solving this to the satisfaction of the customer and I reluctantly returned to the store. When I arrived and ask to speak with her she refused to see me, sending the bartender out to say they were "swamped" and she didnt have time. They had the original entre (one hour old now and cold) and offered a pineapple thing that I didnt want and couldnt take due to allergies in the home. The bartender offered a gift certificate which I turned down because I will never be returning to the restaurant. In my opinion, the right thing to do was simply state: "Im sorry we made an error on your order, and although we dont normally deliver to your area I will send your entre out immediately with my next scheduled delivery." That response would merit an excellent mark in customer service. The response I received from Jill was worse than failing. At the end of all this we had two cold entre dishes, mine which sat at home while I returned to the restaurant and the one I recovered from the restaurant. I am disappointed in Jills response and saddened because I really like their food, but will absolutely never spend another cent in their restaurant.

Food is amazing but the waiter/waitress/bartender staff is by far the worst staff ever. First time going to wang gang I met my girlfriend there on her lunch break. Waiter takes our order then leaves and we dont see him for almost 30-45 minutes. Tells us that he is sorry for our wait and points out that it was my order that slowed things down because they screwed up and had to re-make my order. He also says that he will hook us up on our order, which I believe that means he will take something off our bill. Asks my girlfriend if she would like something else to drink, but doesnt bother asking me and off he goes getting my girlfriends drink. Comes back with the drink while Im trying to make him aware that I have an empty glass as well but didnt notice and disappears yet again. New waitress comes out and gives us our orders. We get the bill right along with it where nothing has been removed. Next time we tried to go to Wang Gang was on a Sunday and the hours printed outside the door says it stayed open until 10pm which we were at there by 8pm. We proceeded into the building only to be greeted by the bartender in which he said that they were closing early. Really genius move. Probably lost some money since other people were also told the same thing after us. Final time we went there, they gave my girlfriend the wrong drink, didnt give us our silverware (we had to ask for it), made my girlfriends food too spicy and handed our appetizer at the same time our food was handed out. The waitress was hard to find. The building was empty so Im not sure what she was doing. At least this time they actually took off my girlfriends item. This place would be good if they just replaced the waiting staff...

My husband and I went there last Saturday night with our two teenagers. It took forever for them to bring us our appetizer, lettuce wraps. About two minutes after we got our lettuce wraps, our entrees arrived. We had all these plates on our table, and we felt we had to jump into our entree while they were still hot. Therefore, the appetizer was a complete waste of money. I hated my entree, Mongolian beef. On the menu, they described it as a "treat," and I failed to take them literally. That was a big mistake! Their Mongolian beef has a sauce that tastes like Hersheys syrup. What is worse than steak and onions in Hersheys syrup? How about white rice swimming in chocolate sauce? I think they ate trying to pretend like they are a fusion restaurant, and that the Mongolian beef is made with a Mexican mole sauce. The problem is, I have made mole, and it tastes NOTHING like the sauce I would put on an ice cream sundae! My husband and kids got enters that they enjoyed to varying degrees. The best entree was my sons lo mein. To be honest, the lettuce wraps, which we could hardly enjoy because they arrived so late, were served in a very strange way with the rounded lettuce on top of a bowl of chicken mixture that looked like strawberry oatmeal. When I tried the bizarre oatmeal textured chicken muxture, I found the meat to be fatty and bouncy. Finally, my husband and son ordered dessert. I didnt want any because my Mongolian beef was so dessert like, but my husband encouraged me to try the fried pineapple. This dessert was absolutely delicious! We all loved it. Unfortunately, it did not make up for all the other issues.

Always great!!! Always clean!!! Great prices!!! If you dont like the price, theres always coupons out there. My husband and I visit about once a week. We always sit at the bar and get GREAT service for food and drink whether its very slow or very busy. Nice to be recognized as a regular customer. All the appetizers are awesome, its so hard to choose from such a great selection. Love the #88 with noodles. Ive had one dish I didnt like but the staff was very very willing to let me make another selection or have it taken it off the bill. I chose another selection and was very pleased. We take our 2 year old granddaughter occasionally, she loves the #88 too. She loves loves watching the pretty fish in the aquarium. Despite snide comments and sour looks from customers, the bar staff always always treats the three of us with respect. We never ever buy an alcoholic beverage when shes with us but the staff remains professional and kind. Thank you for making us feel welcome and treating us like your guests in your home. Bartenders Vince and Derek are wonderful!!!! they make us want to be regular customers!!!! Thanks

Usually I go during the week and the service and food is exceptional. Today I took my family on a Saturday and had an experience that will prevent me from returning. The table that sat next to us around the same time with a different waiter received their apps before we even ordered drinks. Two of 3 meals were incorrect (pad Thai came without shrimp, received a quesadilla instead of tacos), my soup the Thai spicy chicken is the opposite of authentic and inedible (it was sweeter than a Thai iced tea), and the childrens pad Thai according to my husband tasted like the inside of a dog food bag, maybe it had ketchup in it? On top of that the service was just so bad. I completely drank my iced tea, the ice melted and I drank that before I was able to get our waiters attention. They also cleared my sons fork and said they would bring a new one, which they never did I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to get a new fork. Will not return.
