Garden variety food, at best. The General chicken is interesting in that it is about 90% batter with some kind of chicken slurry added to the batter. If you pull apart the "fritters" you will find that they are pretty much all batter. The sauce and veggies are alright. There have been a few times that there was so much MSG in the food that I had a migraine from elevated blood pressure. The folks are nice and humble, but have a hard time recommending food, as they cant speak much english. There arent really any good Chinese food restaurants here in town. The Han Buffet is OK, and not as bad as the other places. I wish this place could understand my critique so they could improve a little. I wouldnt eat there if you have a delicate constitution or high blood pressure. The place isnt very clean, and the tables, chairs, walls, bathroom, are all covered in a unfortunate sticky greasy film. There are some oriental prints on the wall that are faded to a light blue with, yes, a sticky film on them. Their prices are very reasonable and they are fast with their service.

We ordered the General Tsos, Shrimp Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Pork and Chicken with Cashew. The noodles were greasy and the shrimp tasted off in the Shrimp Lo Mein. The sweet and sour pork was okay. The chicken with cashew was way too salty and tasted horrible. My husband has the General Tsos and he just didnt like it. Crab Rangoon was sickenly sweet and runny. Other than the Shrimp Lo Mein, these are the dishes we normally order at Lams Garden in Granite City and the quality and taste that we are used to was just not there. From now on, we will just continue to drive to Granite City for our Chinese food.

If youre looking for a good and fast alternative to the usual burger lunch... this is a great one. The food is excellent "fast food" Chinese. The fried dumplings and crab ragoon are amazing... worth the trip all by themselves. Nothing fancy in the decor... more of "a hole in the wall" place thats just plain fast with good piping hot food. Excellent value! Generally enough food food for tomorrows lunch. Bottom line... Good, Fast, and a Great Value.

We stayed in Collinsville one night on Vacation we called for delivery and the driver went to to the wrong hotel....We waited for 2 hours for our food. When we got it it WAS GROSS we all got sick and only had 2 bites,,,Called for a refund and they said they would pick the food back up and never did.I got ahold of them and they told me that they could only give half of the refund BULLSHIT!!!! My advice is DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very unset with this place today, first off it took almost TWO HOURS for my food to arrive, then the delivery guy was rude as all hell, I ordered chicken fried rice and got shrimp fried rice, so I tried to call and get it fixed and they never answered, I called three times!!! Its sad, I order from here all the time and have never had a trouble until today...

food was ok. fast service. i tried the teriyaki chicken. Im asian, the teriyaki chicken they serve is not authentic. got 4 skewered chicken. the three on top of the rice was ok. the one beneath all three was dry and obviously old. ended up throwing that away. If you know good chinese food, this isnt it.

When the delivery guy handed me my receipt, I found I was charged more than what I was originally told was the total for my order. I also asked for napkins and chopsticks and I did not receive either. The food tastes good but is not worth the extra money or hassle for delivery.

The hot and spicy chicken was basically just katchup , the dumplings were too salty, but the crab rangoon was okay (definately on the sweet side). Overall very unimpressed. Those three things cost $22 and was definitely not worth it.

Ive ordered from them several times now and the food is always top notch. Theyre my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The deliveries always take a long time, but I am willing to put up with that for the quality of the food.

Used to like it, until the point when they started rushing you to order and putting people on the phone who dont understand English. Yet the delivery drivers are American. NEVER AGAIN...Bye Saint Paul Sandwiches.
