I have been to the store several times when the employees have gone off on other employees. Never once have I seen a manager stick up and tell that employee to stop, leave, or anything to prevent it. I go both days and nights. I have learned that the days are way better. Very nice girls work on the day. Even some nice boys that greet you like they are happy to. There is one girl with dark hair. Need to get her name. She used to be on nights but I noticed her not being there so I asked and she said she switched because of school. She has always been so nice and has made our food or taken our order with a smile and makes conversation with us. She even helped me with a cake once and I asked if she could write on the side of the cake since there was no room on top and she told me she never has but if Im willing to let her try then she will. I told her she could do it and it came back great! One male on the day is so kind, shorter light colored hair. Made our blizzards without any moaning or complaining. Dont get it made like that on night. On the day shift they talk to you and have smiles. It seems they enjoy their job. I dont see the same on nights. Will only continue going on the days. The food and service is so much better on days than it is on nights. I tell everyone I know to go on days. Management should be proud of how great those employees treat their customers.

I rarely decide to go to a fast food joint for a hamburger. Well, I had the craving so I went to the local Dairy Queen off of New Shackle Island. The teenage girl at the window was rude as she could be. I guess because I made a special order. She kept repeating it back to me in a sullen manner, as if I was commanding her to launch a nuclear attack on the Middle East. When I say special order, all I meant was that I substituted onion rings for fries on a combo, and ordered a shake to drink. When I said "thank you" after she handed me the food, she just looked at me with a sour expression. I got home and tried to eat the hamburger, and you could tell it had been sitting under the heaters for hours. It was cold and stiff and chewy. I couldnt finish it, it was like eating beef jerky. Disgusting all around.

Poor service! 7 employees working, 6 people waiting in line, 1 very kind girl working at the cash register and all other employees standing around talking or smoking outside the door. Ordered a banana split which cost $5 and it had less ice cream than a child sized cone. Had asked for no pineapple on the banana split so it was made with strawberry on everything. Given attitude by the young lady who made the banana split (mumbling to her co-worker as she made it the right way). Obviously I was delaying her smoke break because she was outside sharing a cigarette with a guy who appeared to be the manager before I even sat down at a table This was a Sat night but there were only 3-5 people in the lobby. Wont go back!

So I had a coupon for a buy a blizzard and get one for 99 cents of equal or lesser value so i go in to order my two blizzards and the guy at the counter says the new blizzard does not qualify for the promotion so I just said ok it must be on the fine print. Well it was not it said any blizzard of equal or lesser value. Im not one to call people out so I just left and will never go back. They suck.

The food was awful and looked nothing like the picture on the menu. The mushroom burger had no mushrooms, the meat smelled like it had been sitting out for a long time, it tasted rubbery like it had been heated in a microwave and the fries were cold. When we called the store and complained, the night manager was rude. We will not be eating at this location again.

Decent chain food, tasty burgers, and (mostly) friendly staff. Blizzards are as expected, all of them are upside down without a drip. Bathrooms could use some better cleaning, but overall not bad, and a good place to stop by for lunch or a delicious treat.

3/4/17 the two girls working the closing shift up front, Amorette and one with short dark hair and glasses were warm, welcoming and VERY patient with the two small boys with us! GREAT friendly service. orders were correct and delicious as well!

I dont eat at Dairy Queen because its a bit off the main road and the traffic makes it hard to reach, but my experiences have been largely favorable - good food, clean restaurant, decent employees - the French fries are heavily salted though -

I asked for a hot fudge sunday with whipped cream she said it was extra. The only thing that comes on a sunday is ice cream and the topping. That is crazy. I will not be back.
