I completely agree with other reviewers about the place being run by high schoolers. While I have no issue with high school kids working there, there should really be a competent adult manager in charge. When I asked what was on the Buffalo chicken melt, I was told what was on the BBQ melt. When I informed them again that I wanted to know what was on the Buffalo chicken melt, not the BBQ, it seemed to throw the girl for a loop. The kid in front of me in line told me that he worked there and that it was chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese, so I ordered it. When I received it, I found that it also had ranch dressing. When I returned to to have it remade, the gal who (I assume, considering she looked no older than anyone else there) was in charge told me that that was how it comes. I told her that I asked what came on it FOR A REASON, if I had known it came with ranch I would have ordered it without it from the get go. She looked at me like I had lost my mind. The lady who was doing the cooking came over and apologized, and said she was asked what was on the BBQ, not the Buffalo (which I knew, so it wasnt her fault). Anyway, this experience is absolutely typical of every time I go there, not to mention it is always dirty. I want to take my business to Zionsville whenever possible, but from now on if I want DQ I will go to the new location on Michigan.

The occasion of visiting the queen of dairy was pure royalty to say the least. The fine dining was prepared in a timely fashion and was served with a pleasant smile. One worker in particular, Andrew S. Dodd, is a fine young worker with an iq of 150+. He is also as strong as an ox, he looked as if he could benchpress my entire extended family while still serving blizzards with a charming and delightful smile. As I ate my luxurious oreo snowstorm ice cream snack, I could feel a tingling sensation in my toes, reminding me of the true love that I have for this fine establishment. The fries were so crispy and golden that you could hear the crunch from Lions Park. If Andrew S. Dodd was not working in this restaurant, there would be mass chaos and confusion. Without Andrew S. Dodd, I am entirely convinced that the business would tank utterly and shall be renamed as the "Dairy Joker." Because of the countless hours and dedication that Andrew S. Dodd puts into this business, the fine establishment runs smoothly. Overall, the experience was unforgettable. The restaurant was so clean that I plan on having my future wife deliver our first child in this Dairy Queen, as it is probably more sanitary than a hospital room. Fine work Andrew S. Dodd, I salute you and wish you the best of luck in your next years.

We frequent your business on a regular basis and usually receive good service. Last night the service we received was above and beyond any other visit. Our son has a peanut allergy and we know it is a risk to eat at DQ due to many items containing peanut butter or nuts. Last night my son made his usual request after placing his Blizzard order to have the spout on the blending machine wiped clean before mixing his Blizzard. The young man waiting on us not only wiped down the machine, but then proceeded to the back to get all fresh ingredients from unopened bags to assure his order didnt contain any accidental peanut ingredients. While I am certain that isnt standard procedure, my son and I were blown away with his service. He clearly did it with pleasure, and when thanked, he smiled and stated that he wanted to make sure it was allergy free. That is a STAR EMPLOYEE WITH TOP NOTCHED CUSTOMER SERVICE in my book!

I guess this restaurant was not a "participating location" in the 75th anniversary free cone day 3/16/15. After waiting in line 10mins at drive-thru, I was told only 1 free cone was allowed per car (though I had 4 excited children waiting). When I asked if I came inside would I be able to get one per person I was told that mgmt said only one free cone per family. Very deceptive! How many people would have bothered to take their entire family to DQ today to get only 1 free cone? If they could not hand;e the volume of giving away 1 freebie per customer then they should not advertise the national promotion. Very disappointed!

This location has always been a dirty and poorly serviced DQ. I dont think Ive ever had an experience where I left absolutely happy. This location went through a remodel, which they basically slapped lipstick on a pig. Instead of spending money on a poorly constructed remodel, they should have spent it doing a deep clean in their kitchen and prep area. Walk or Drive over to The Scoop across the street for a wonderful experience.

Blizzard was melted by the time I got to the drive thru window. Got a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard (the one I wanted they were out of, though it was listed online). It was horrible...Im pretty sure they used chocolate ice cream with a ton of chocolate syrup even though the kid at the window claimed it was vanilla--and I hate chocolate! Couldnt even taste the cookie chunks after all that, definitely not worth $4.50.

Every time I come here they ask me to pull over to the side and make me wait 10 minutes or more. I dont know if the wait is really worth it. The order is always wrong. Oh and they cant make soda here. Its soda water, yuck! And one time I came here for a burger and they said they were out of burgers. What place sells burgers and does not have burger meat. Come on guy!

I travel to Fort Knox frequently. Was craving DQ and found this one on the GPS. Called ahead and they said the drive thru was open until 10:30pm. I arrived at 10:20pm. Was told the only food they had available were hot dogs. No fries or anything else was available. If you state you are open to a certain time then have food until that time! Lazy People!

Disgusting food, the atmosphere is unfriendly with all of the spiteful teenagers behind the counter. When trying to talk to the manager about a refund for my totally screwed up order I was told there was no reason to give me one. Even the ice cream is terrible, how can you do that?

I stop here almost everyday. The ice cream is always great and the food had improved over the last few years. The staff is always friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. For as busy as they usually are the place has always been clean when I arrived.

The ice cream and such is fairly good, but the lunch or other food is not that tasty. The decor is slightly cheesey. And the service is ok but i think that it could be more organized especially after you are ordering and are waiting for your food, and the lines.

Disgusting under-cooked french fries and pathetic small chicken fingers. My friends burger was burnt and her fries were also under-cooked. Pathetic. Dont go there unless you only want ice cream - its hard to mess up ice cream from a machine....
