I wish I had two more hand so I could give this place 4 thumbs down!!! I spent $15.36 of my hard earned money on Sesame Chicken lunch special and some Crab Rangoon. I came in and paid for an order for myself and another co-worker from my job. When I walked in, I waited over 5 minutes before one of the waiters came up to me to see if I needed help and he said that someone would be with me in a moment. Another 3 to 5 minutes go by and FINALLY one of the wait staff came up to the register. Keep in mind, Ive been standing at the front for about 10 minutes at this point clear as day, and while I was waiting, a white lady came in after me trying to pick up her to go order as well. What does the waitress do? She walks and deals with the white lady first, after she clearly saw me standing at the register the entire time. I know she saw me because while she was coming to and from the kitchen area, she looked at me 2 times while she was waiting on her tables. A moment later just after this happen and after I let her know I was there first, a lady came from the kitchen with the food. Guess what she does?!? THE EXACT SAME THING! She went to the white lady first, and I had to give her the same look of frustration and let her know as well I was there first. This is just one thing. The food was a problem by it self. as mentioned earlier, I ordered the Sesame Chicken and brown rice. It was just about four pieces of fried chicken pieces with the "sesame sauce" on the side. Of all the Chinese places Ive gone to, Ive NEVER seen this before in my entire life!!! Not to mention the sauce tasted more like sweet and sour rather than sesame. My egg roll, and crab rangoon was cold, and to top it all off, there was not any plastic silverware to eat my food. Fortunately I found an extra fork at my job. I will say the Won Ton soup was pretty good and was made with fresh ingredients. Overall, the only thing you are going to get from the Royal Panda is a nice "Chinese"-looking restaurant. Just be clear, the food is not it is cracked up to be AT ALL, and if you are another ethnicity (black, latino, etc) even not causing a problem, acting appropriately, and conducting yourself like your have some sense, you will probably experience a slight brush of racism like what I did. Dont let the good reviews or its rating of being "One of Memphiss best" fool you.

I want to cry. Nothing I bought was good. Even the crunchy things that go in the soup are burned. My general tso had zero flavor. The beef and broccoli was rubbery with zero flavor. I called and complained about the general tso because thats what I wanted but after I realized that none of it was to the standard that this restaurant should have. Im so upset and its too late to find food elsewhere. I wish I could return it all and get my money back. Biggest disappointment Ive ever had with food. They were nice nd gave me credit for the general tso. Tomorrow Ill try again to tell them how horrible it all was. I mean seriously this isnt Chinese food. The cheap place down the street from me is at least edible. I drove 20 mins to get take out here because it used to be amazing when I used to live in memphis. I just moved back and i hope this is a one time mess up, surely its not gone downhill that bad.

Once upon a time this was the Chinese restaurant to go to. Now most every other restaurant is far better than this. The vegetables use to be nice and crisp and fresh. Now they appear and taste like left overs from the day before. Soggy blistered and just nasty. Sauces that should be tangy or spicy are anything but...its bland...really is just BLAH! Whoever there cook is should be fired for his lack cooking skills if which he has none. I could barely down half a serving. The rest got thrown out. Save your money...they are over priced...Youd do better going to Formosa or Noodle Bistro. THE FOOD SUCKED!

I had a most wonderful lunch with my wife here today. The staff were polite, timely, and attentive, the food had pretty amazing flavor and was served hot, price for lunch for two was $21 after tax/tip. I will definitely come again when Im in the area. Regarding some of the recent negative reviews, I guess no one told the locals, because on a non-holiday Tuesday at lunch, nearly every table was filled including a birthday party of 15 in the corner. Delicious! Ordered take-out from here 3/12/16. Beef w/ tangy sauce, beef w/ broccoli, and sweet-n-sour shrimp Special Dinners, which all come with choice of soup, choice of roll, and choice of rice. Everything was fresh, uniquely prepared, and tasty. At time of pick-up, I noticed that the restaurant was clean and possessed a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Have eaten here 4 times and every time the service and food was excellent. The people who run this place really care and serve up delicious food. Best restaurant in GTown, dont miss it. It is in the Target Shopping center. Try the chicken with mixed vegetables in the white sauce, also worth mentioning I have never had the dry leather tongue after eating here. Guess good food doesnt need MSG. Yum

I bought lunch on my lunch break at work from here as a to go order. Everything ran smoothly until I made it back to the store and the good tasted and looked unsatisfactory. I even gave them a nice tip...I went back to get refund and the guy at register refused and called security...Im hungry and just want good food...is it that hard to get a refund? In progress...

GROSS. Spring roll was okay. Hopefully they cant go wrong with that. My kids hated everything they had. My husband only liked his egg drop soup. The sweet and sour chicken & sesame chicken... sick. My shrimp lo mein... sick!! I mean I normally love the stuff and I probably only ate a few bites. Such a waste of $50!!!

I ordered beef flank on rice for $11. All I got was a big box of rough rice and a thin layer of beef/beef flank on top of 1/4 of the total surface area. I know beef is expensive. But they even dont care to add some other stuff to make it worth what you paid for. I promise I wont set a foot inside that restaurant any more.

Horrible. We have been waiting for dinner for over 2 hours. Ordered at 330, called for status at 430, was told it was on its way, called at 530 was told their driver did not show up. Nothing but excuses when I called the third time. Dont waste your time trying to get dinner out of these guys--you will starve.
