I was very excited to see that this business had come to Clarksville since I am a huge fan of GiGis and buy them for every special occasion. I thought this would save me the drive to Nashville a couple of times a month. I have tried The Sweetest Batch on 3 different occasions and have been disappointed each and every time with not only their selection and quality, but also on their customer service. Their cupcakes are smaller, not as creative or nearly as flavorful as GiGis but they are more expensive. (Every time I go in there...always between 11:00-11:30am...they always have a million of the "wedding cake" cupcakes *blah, vanilla on vanilla with white sprinkles* and a handful of about 2 or 3 other flavors and that is all....) Their cupcakes are also quite dry. You know when your 2 year old only eats a couple of bites of it and says that they are done, that they arent the best tasting. On top of it all...the same guy and girl are always at the counter, and not only have no personality at all, but I have never been told "thank you for coming.", "have a nice day." or anything. Heaven forbid they make any eye contact....OR if you have change coming and wait for it...its not worth it for less than a buck to deal with the eye roll, sigh and attitude that they actually have to reopen the register! It is as though they know they are the only "high end" cupcake place in town therefore they take it for granted that they have customers lined up and waiting for their product so they dont care if you come back or not. Like THEY are doing YOU a favor by selling you their cupcakes and you should be thanking your lucky stars that they sold their cupcakes to someone like you. I have a feeling within a year or so if their quality or even more so, their customer service doesnt improve, that the novelty will wear off and people will tire of paying the high price for a mediocre cupcake and end up out of business. Already been down to GiGis twice this month instead of going back to The Sweetest Batch and its worth the drive! Always at least 6 or 7 different cupcakes to choose from and when I tell them that I drove down from Clarksville, they are always so thankful and gratious and always throw in a couple of free cupcakes too! :) They never disappoint! So sad, because I REALLY wanted to love this place and support it as a locally owned business!

Driving home from Wilma Rudolph early in the summer, I happened to notice the sign for the upcoming cupcake shop. I am native Nashvillian. Born and raised in Green Hills and West End area. I have eaten Gigis since they opened their first location. Even my daughter recieved her very first birthday cupcake from Gigis. Im a cupcake conniosseur. I know what I like and will pay for what is good. With that said, sweetest batch does offer many wonderful cupcakes. I am more into the actual cake rather than the icing. Both Gigis and Sweetest Batch have too much icing. Im sure if they cut it by atleast half, and gear more toward moist and flavorful cake, the remaining half of the icing would be plenty! I have tried maybe 1/2 of Sweetest Batchs flavors. They have the mystery flavors on Thursdays ( which I LOVE!) and are coming up with new flavors all the time! The price is indeed a little steep but they offer coupons in the coupon mint and a new 10% military and student discount. Something Gigis does not. Being a military wife with a husband deployed, myself and our 3 kiddos have boosted their revenue quite a bit since he left a few weeks ago. lol My consumption will have to slow a bit once the winter approaches but for now, Im enjoying every sweet batch of cupcakes I get.

The worst experience ever! My mother in law comes in town every so often and each time we go to GiGis Cupcakes in Nashville; since it is a bit of a drive just for cupcakes we decided to try out The Sweetest Batch Cupcakes! We arrived there at about 3:45 p.m. I walked up to the door and literally before I could even step a foot in the door the worker states "we sold out!" First of all I was not even greeted before they rudely stated they were sold out! Second I understand them selling out, but not 2 hours before the time they state they are open till! If this was my business I would have apologized for the inconvenience and offered a complimentary cupcake for a future visit! So for now on we will make the commute to Nashville to get cupcakes rather than trying these and giving them my business!

As a man that has been around the globe and tried products at different bakeries, I am pleasantly surprised that we have our very own cupcakery in Clarksville Tn! This little shop has set a high standard of taste and excellence that Ive yet to see anywhere! They have pleased everyone I have talked too and all the reviews Ive seen, except for one. And there is always one bad apple in every town! Thanks to these ladies for their comittment to go above and beyond! A moist yummylicious cupcake that has more flavor and variety then gigis, and possibly anywhere else I have been! By their repeat customers and the rave reviews I think this place is a huge hit and will be here forever! KUDOS TO THE SWEETEST BATCH!!!!

By far the best cupcakes I have ever put in my mouth. Very moist and the frosting is perfect. Not too sweet and they are generous. Id rather scrape some off to share than be left in the disapointment of wanting more. My favorites are the Strawberry Fields which are Strawberry on Strawberry and the Queen of Hearts, at least I think that is what it is called. It is a red velvet and tastes true to red velvet which was a very refreshing find as many claim to be red velvet, but are not true red velvet. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. :D

My kids were having a fit so we finally made it over there when they werent CLOSED....and now I wished they had have been. You get more ICING than you do actual cupcake & what lil actual cupcake we did get was very, very dry! We were not impressed at all. TOO much $$$$$ for what you get, the icing was about the same as you can get at Wal-Mart or Sams. Could have taken my kids to dinner for what we paid four 4 cupcakes. WON"T BE BACK!!!!! Dont waste your time or your money!!!

The girls and I went into the shop the other day and were very impressed with these cupcakes. They were a lot bigger than we expected them to be and they tasted wonderful. : ] I had this amazing key lime cupcake and it was very delicious. I love all of the decorations in the shop and the overall feel is very sweet. One of the owners was there when we were there and she seemed very sweet too. I plan on going back again soon when my mom comes into town!

I have pretty high standards when it comes to things like these and I have to say, SBC surpassed my expectations! Not only was the place so adorably decorated, the cupcakes were out of this world good!! AND HUGE! They only had 3 flavors left, but I LOVED all three of them: Carmella, Pucker up Buttercup, and Bananarama. The box was really cute too and held the cupcakes perfectly in place. FABULOUS CUPCAKES! I will definitely be returning!
