I live in Lakeland near Publix HQ and know several people that work in store and I work for a company that does freelance work for them, so I have some insight into the expectations they have for their stores. I was not impressed. I actually texted my boyfriend saying he would lose it if he saw this Publix because he works for them. Unstocked shelfs as well as crates of food on top of the isles. I know they restock and implement new planograms at night but this was about 2-3:30.

I am a Florida transplant and have grown up and old with Publix, quality and service have been excellent 95% of the time. Only complaint is prices are higher, I understand it took a while for customer service to improve to the Florida levels of excellent. Could be a by product of growth. I would like to see a better quality and variety in the meat departments.

Whenever I go in (for years now) the people that work there make a point to help me in my shopping experience. From just simple hellos, to small talk, to always being great with my kids, to answering questions, and ordering products for me, Ive not had a better grocery shopping experience anywhere in the world. Which is saying something.

I shop there all the time and I have never had a problem with how I am treated. They are always nice, helpful and respectful. Perhaps the previous reviewer has a chip on her shoulder and is looking for prejudice where it doesnt exist? And Ive NEVER been followed around the store until I checked out.....

I was in that store last Mon. I was so offended I just left. Ive been to all the publix in that area. Great. Except for hwy 100. They wont get my money. Not hwy 100.

Its a Publix. Good supermarket. Ive always found the butcher area to be a little sparse, yet they carry live lobsters.
