Food was excellent as usual. I cant help but order the Pat LaFreida with battered fries every time I come in. Had an unresolved issue with the bill. I was not able to receive my $1 off for bringing my cup in or a military discount because it was a split check and I was the last person paying. Not really sure why and neither was the staff. It would have been great if they offered to compensate us in some manner instead of shrugging their shoulders and looking at me kinda confused as to why I was confused that this was a problem. No attempt to rectify the situation unfortunately. The service was still good with the exception of being over-charged. Any other visit I would have given them a 5 star; this visit was more like a 2. I gave them a 4 because we really love their food and would love to see more local restaurants and less restaurant chains.

Had the pleasure of experiencing Off the Hoof on our way to Nashville for a work trip. I was in charge of finding somewhere to eat for lunch and I am always looking for something other than the normal "chain" restaurants. The 3 of us went in, started out with Frickles (which I must say Ive tried SEVERAL different versions of Fried Pickles and have not been impressed of ANY of them...until I tried the FRICKLES at OTH)...I couldnt put them down and when the basket was empty, I WANTED MORE! The ranch dressing that they are served with is amazing as well! Our burgers were some of the best we ever had and all 3 of us left there wishing we could take that restaurant back to Little Rock with us. So, if youre in the area...you MUST stop in! And if anyone figures out a way to ship the frickles and ranch to Arkansas, I would be sooooooo grateful!!!! :)

We drove 45 min to try some of these burgers that have had great reviews on here. When we sat down I ordered the buffalo app and then was informed that they were out of buffalo, ostrich, elk, and kobe. We went for the buffalo/ ostrich seeing as i have never had ostrich before, so we were disappointed with that but being in the food industry i understand being out of a few things on a Monday after a good weekend. With all that said the jalapeno bites and the battered fries i had were great. The burger i had was cooked to a perfect medium rare (how i ordered it) but was lacking seasoning as was the sauteed mushrooms that i had on my burger, a little salt and pepper go a long way. The sweet tea was awesome and I always love walking away from a restaurant with a "free" cup. The prices were not bad for the amount of food that is offered.

This place is a must visit even if you are 30 - 45m away! Here was my personal take: the service was prompt and friendly. Had the fried pickles (aka frickles) and fried mushrooms (aka bella bites) both of these were large portions and well prepared; crisp crust and moist bite inside. I had the Kobe burger (ordered rare to med rare) but it came med well. Judy had the Pat Lafrieda Chopped Steak burger. The Kobe was a bit over cooked (not too bad), it was tasty but lacked the flavor from other certified Kobe burgers I have had. Judys burger comes on a toasted croissant roll and was a freaking slam dunk. The taste of that burger will have me going back again to try a good old fashion burger and an Angus burger for further review. Locally this is a MUST as it is a top 3 burger; nationally it is maybe top 7 - 10 material.

Worst place I have ever been. Service was bad, and food was worse. It took an hour to get our food. They had not given us silverware or napkins after asking twice. I have never seen a round pressed salmon burger . I think the order took so long because they had to thaw out the salmon burgers. Then they ran out of the sauce that was to be served with the salmon burger. Everyone else at the table ordered hamburgers. They got one of the burger orders wrong and all this took an hour. When I got my ticket they had added a steak burger to it. Had to wait for the corrected ticket. While finishing the meal they proceeded to clean the table behind us with the worst smelling cleaner ever. By this time I was so nauseated . The entire experience was awful. I will never return and will post this to urban spoon as well.

2nd time I ate here. I wasnt impressed the first time but thought Id give them another shot thinking it was just a bad day. Upset I wasted my money and time yet again. So it is apparently run by snotty teenagers....who I think are confused as to where they are working. I was confused thinking I went to Hoosters since the attire was very inappropriate...I should not be able to see butt hanging out. Besides the distasteful attire we had to wait 30 minutes just for our order to be taken and even longer to get the food. Then received burgers that were not cooked all the way...didnt bother sending it back cause I didnt want to be there any longer. Im a huge supporter for small family owned businesses but in this case i hope a new owner takes over or they should just close the doors. Very disappointed

We have been here before ( abt a year and a half ago)and it was pretty good. I dont know if there are new owners or what, but after my most recent experience, I will never go back. Not sure if it was because I had a to go order and they knew it couldnt really be sent back, but it was awful! The chicken sandwich consisted of two giant chunks of chicken with some cheese melted on them with a bun in the carton. Thats it. It was impossible to hold, much less eat, and came with not so much as a piece of lettuce. The fries werent even edible. Soggy and barely cooked. Will never make the mistake of going there again.

I guess it depends on when you go. Or if youre getting take out. I went over with a buddy and the sandwiches were off the charts. My wife and her mom went and said that the frita fries were awesome. But then we got some to go and the fries didnt have any of the hot sauce on them and they were cold. Plus our whole order was wrong. I didnt get my waffle fries, my wifes grilled chicken sandwich was fried. The only thing they got right was my hamburger and it was sub-par. Im. Not one that had one bad experience and says "I wont go back"but if it happens again or its just OK, Ill probably skip it thereafter

Ive almost had consistently 100% great service here. There was one situation out of the numerous visits I had where the burger was cooked extremely well done when I asked for medium. If you want a burger, and you are in Arlington this is where you need to go! Even if you dont live in the direct area, say you are coming from Bartlett, Cordova *where I live now*, Memphis, Lakelake, or where ever else this place is the only place I know that sells Venison, Elk, Wild Bore, and Kobe burgers. They have much more, but you need to go there yourself to see!
