Will never go back to this specific Monterreys. The waitress was in the weeds with no one to help and rushing everyone to order. So with that our order came out wrong and cold. I had a fajita that came out warm if that. She did take 2 of the orders and corrected it but forgot other parts of the meal. I asked to see the manager and about 15 mins later she came out very aggressive saying is your order not right now, is it not hot now, I stated I should not have had to send it back in the first place, and she kept right on well its hot now so you good, is the food not good, I stated not cold its not. So back and forth we go as well as my husband about his and finally I just gave up asked for my check and left. I will be disputing this bill which I have never done something like that before but no sorry, what can I do nothing so goodbye Monterreys and to your rude manager.

Worst Mexican restaurant Ive ever eaten and theres some really bad ones in Spartanburg. The refried beans were like colored water, not bean colored, but kind of dark orange. Zero flavor, seriously they had no taste. Asked for some spicy salsa since the table stuff was the equivalent to mild everywhere else. They brought out some kind of colored water with some pepper seeds and a bushel of cilantro chopped up in it. Maybe Im biased since I dont like cilantro to start with but this kind of overkill. Couldnt eat it. The rest of the food was mediocre but overpriced. $10 for two burnt chimichanga. It was two trips in one for my family. The first and the last

THIS is the absolute WORST restaurant I have ever been to. My children ate the mild salsa and 15 minutes later both were throwing up and diarrhea in the bathroom. I had to take them to the emergency room and when I called the restaurant to tell them, they could not have cared less. I called DHEC and they said they have had many complaints. The manager Stephanie said "Sorry, but we have had no other complaints". The doctors at the emergency room filed a formal complaint as well. PLEASE DO NOT EAT THERE!!!

After getting my order wrong, the incredibly rude & suddenly hostile (wow) waitress refuses to fix the order without charging me for both correct new plate & incorrect plate. She never visited our table again other than to give us a check. This was absolutely embarrassing to have her raise her voice at me. Manager never came to the table after she threatened it. NEVER VISITING THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.

The last time I got take out, I had a small rock in my food. And as if that wasnt bad enough, there was also a large piece of plastic in my food too. Three other times I got take out, I ordered a bean burrito and they gave me hamburger instead. Since I am a vegetarian, this was extremely upsetting. Same thing happened to my son. He ordered cheese but got chicken. I am never eating there again.

Not your average Mexican restaurant. The menus is your typical Mexican restaurant type of food, but the staff is awesome, and the environment is super clean and well done. This is first date good compared to most Mexican restaurants. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. They seem to have a really decent bar setup as well. My favorite in Greer/Taylors.

Great food, as always. Only thing is, if you have a group thats more than 4 but less than 7 and they seat you in one of the big round tables, it feels like youre too far to have a good conversation with anyone. Other than that, good service too :)

Always had good experiences until last week. My chicken taco had a large block of fat in it and my husband has had food posioning for 2 days. The food quality has most definately gone down. The staff was friendly but thats about it.

Better than your average Mexican fare. Well-kept and service is usually fast. Anticipate a packed restaurant especially on Sunday lunch hour. Try one of the house specialties to get a taste for their unique style.

Strangest chili relleno I ever had. It was a small piece of chile smothered in some kind of chipped beef and gravy. Yuck. Side of beans were terrible, too. I wont be back.
