Definitely wayyyy better than Moes! Ok, I honestly dont know who could possibly think Moes could even TRY to compete with Chipotle. Ive tried Tijuana Flats several times (mainly for the cookie dough flautas) and it was alright, but overpriced, IMO. And Moes just tastes really cheap to me, compared to Chipotle. If you like fresh, mostly locally-grown food, (which you wont get at el Toreo or most other local Mexican restaurants) you definitely need to try Chipotle. They prepare your dish right in front of you, so you know what youre getting and how much, and you can ask for less or more. Its true, their meats dont have a whole lot of salt on them, so it could be perceived as a little bland, but the guacamole (extra charge) cheese, salsas, fajitas, and other great flavors make up for this. You can add salt and hot sauce if it really bothers you, but many people today are trying to watch their sodium anyways, so I think it was wise of them to go the "less is more" route. All in all, Id say its maybe not as high on the list for ME as Qdoba...but definitely the next best.

So, the last time we went to Chipotle, we left a comment saying that the chips were kinda stale and perhaps if they tried a different way to store them, they would be more fresh. We got contacted by Corporate and they gave us coupons for replacement meals. This was a nice gesture and we were excited to try again. The actual food has always been decent or good (depending on the day). So today, we call in an order and let them know we have the coupons. When I get there, they had placed the order under a name that didnt even sound close to my name (which I had given them). They almost didnt give me the food. That was frustrating, but I handed them the coupons and expected to only pay for the extra items we ordered. The lady who was ringing the order up didnt feel like separating the orders so we could use the coupons to replace the meal. So we wound up paying for two meals we werent expecting to pay because they offered to pay for it. At this point, Im just done with this Chipotle branch. We were putting in group orders every week and we will no longer be doing so.

First off I would rate this 2/5 stars but not 2.5/5. Chipotle is very similar to Moes Southwest Grill but just not as good. You dont get as many options for toppings and the ingredients themselves are just bland. For example they have a delicious LOOKING corn type salsa you can add to your entree. It LOOKS delicious and it LOOKS like it could be flavorful but it just TASTES like stale corn. Not good. Chipotle is also missing something very important that you can usually find in "mexican grill" restaurants. Salsa! Sure you can have your burrito maker (or whatever youre getting) put some bland flavored salsa on your burrito behind the counter but there is no salsa bar. Youll notice while eating that there is just something missing. My friends agreed that a good salsa is missing. I say a good flavor is missing. Chipotle is a miss. Better choices would be Moes or Tijuana Flats.

Very tasty burrito bowl and tacos. I love the pinto beans and the guacamole here. The service was fast and friendly and this location is really busy at lunch. I would suggest ordering ahead and just picking up your food lest you enjoy standing in a line for 30 minutes because there are that many people there. Make sure you dont let them put wet items in your taco if you are picking up because the soggy factor is plus 10. I had the steak burrito bowl and it is really filling because it is a lot of food. The steak is tender and a bit spicy. The guacamole is fresh and tasted great. I mixed in both the tomato and the corn salsa which both are not too spicy but full of flavor. The bits of corn are sweet and tender. The pinto beans are tender and seasoned well. I will return for certain.

No idea why Ocala bothered to get a chipotle when the service, product and crew were HORRIBLE. I must first say that Charles and Sara the two head managers are rude and have no idea how to properly run a business or everyone that worked for them wouldnt have quit on them. Also most of the crew members that work there cant speak up without you having to say "HUH" 15 times. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FACT THAT MOST OF THE TIME THEY DONT EVEN SERVE THE MEAT CHIPOTLE PROMISES. Such a failure this place, please get two other people that know how to run this place. Not sara, or charles...

All Chipotles are the same as far as food goes. But thats a good thing when it comes to food chains. The services was good. Staff was friendly. Although I had a call in order. I said the names I was picking up for and they said jokingly: " well see, it might be right". I was confused by the comment. Took the order home. It was the right order all around, but realized they had marked the lids wrong for a take out apparently. The comment was amusing, as long as the order was correct.

This Chipotle doesnt serve up the best of what this chain has to offer, but Im happy that there is finally one here. Grilling on the "plancha" does not taste as good as grilling on a gas fired grill. The Burrito Builders cant get the wrap right, unlike the locations in Atlanta. Also, I have no idea why Chipotle skimped on the decor at this location. All the other Chipotles that Ive been to have a nice wood crafted Mexican Art decor.

Worst chipotle ive ever had i use to work in one in nyc. When i moved to ocala i wanted chipotle so bad but there was only one in Gainesville. After one being put in ocala i was prob there first customer food was awful. I thought maybe it was me cuz i did have a bad cold that day. About 2 weeks later i tried it again and it was just as bad as the first time. All i can say is yuck!!!

We absolutely love this Chipotle location. We frequent it often, and have always had wonderful service. Our food is always on par, Chuy and the nice girl who does our take out orders have always been so helpful! Whenever I have a big order, Chuy will help carry out the food, which is a huge plus since i have my two girls in tow.

I have been waiting so long for a Chipotle to come here!!! Finally!!!! I cant imagine anyone chosing Moes or the Flats over Chipotle. I am so happy we dont have to drive to Gainesville to get our Chipotle fix anymore! We have tried Moes and the Flats and were thoroughly dissapointed with both. No Mas!!! Chipotle is here!!!!

The prices are on par with most restaurants offering similar foods in the area and the food looks fresh, but paying extra for chips is odd since Moes gives them to you for free and unlimited, the burritos at Moes seem bigger and taste better to me (in my opinion) I suggest to try both and see what one you enjoy more.

I just left this Chipotle and I got a chicken bowl while my friend got a steak bowl. Both our meats tasted like theyd been burned, like tasting a brick of charcoal. I eat at Chipotle in different locations and have never had a negative experience until today.
