My wife is from California and I lived there for quite sometime so needless to say we are both big critics on the Mexican food. The food is hands down better than any of these Monterey or Los Amigos pop ups. The Salsa is excellent and the owner an his staff (most family) are always accomidating, courtious. For those who say they messed our order up and were rude... well you try to remember what and where everything goes and deal with people much like yourselves. Not a job for everyone but these nice people do a fanominal job. I would recommend to anyone who wants good mexican food. Haha!! Papas & Beer my ass

We stopped here on the way to Atlanta. We ran into the post-church crowd on a Sunday, but we still got good service and tasty food. I maintain that most Mexican restaurants are basically the same, but this one pulled everything off better than most. Our food was good. The salsa was tasty, though unremarkable. The prices were what youd expect in your average Mexican restaurant. I cant imagine why Id be in Piedmont, SC again other than being on the way to or from Atlanta, but if I am I would seriously consider going back here.

The food was acceptable and pretty standard for this type of Mexican restaurant. The service was less than stellar. Our server basically just put the plates on the table with a half-hearted attempt to determine who they belonged to even though they were very hot. And even though I asked for a tamale, it was never delivered and did not appear on the check. Judging by the conversations at the register, mistakes are a common occurrence.

We ate there last night after church. The waitress did not listen and had our entire order wrong down to the drinks. They rushed us to order because the grill was closing down. This was an hour before closing. The people cooking was eating and licking their fingers. At this point, I did not even want to eat anything they was cooking. I would not give this a one star. Staff and the owner is rude! Unsanitary environment!!!

I would really give it 3.5 stars. There is always a screaming kid in there. Not their fault. But I always get food to go. Food is good,basic Mexican. Salsa is always good. Sometimes guacamole is very thin. Quesadillas are sometimes soggy and greasy. Good basic soft taco. It cures a craving for Mexican.

The salsa is spectacular. Thats always the first sign of a good Mexican restaurant in my opinion. The food is full of flavor; not bland like a lot of other Mexican restaurants. The drinks are poured a plenty and extremely well priced.

Ehh, ok Mexican. For it to be a small place the service is a bit lacking. (Tried to flag a waiter down for 5 minutes, the cashier finally came over) the Chicken doesnt taste as fresh as others.
